This is a temporary re-upload of my original copyright claimed Rankin/Bass Christmas special. I intended to have the new and improved version done by Black Friday just like last year but I've been very sick lately and just decided to throw this back out there for the people who asked me about it being gone.
Sorry about the new big distracting watermark but I've been having problems with content thieves lately and I didn't have time to make secret/subtle watermarks tonight like will be in the new version.
I initially decided to remake/update the special after a seriously rocky experience with my first upload being stolen and re-uploaded by multiple people, including one which keeps absurdly claiming that he made it himself despite the fact that I have proof that I made it and posted it first.
Even before being removed completely for a now resolved copyright claim my video was first removed from youtube recommendations more than once to prevent it from gaining views because it was growing incredibly fast. Going from a near vertical line on the view count chart at over six hundred thousand views rapidly approaching one million to suddenly falling flat and horizontal more than once.
Screenshots of the view count graph/chart show every time the video would start to pick up views again youtube would stop showing it to people and turn off the views like a tap.
And then last but not least the video was copyright claimed and permanently removed by someone with rights to one of the old commercials I used.
Long story short this person and I are now on good terms and even briefly joined forces to remove some of my and his stolen content. Unfortunately this was not entirely effective though as that one persistent thief continues to repost the video over and over on multiple channels ducking copyright strikes and posting vulgar messages to me in the video description.
All known copyright issues have been peacefully and politely resolved now, however the reason I said this upload will be temporary is because I plan to greatly improve certain technical and stylistic issues with the video to set it apart from the carbon copy stolen imposters. I'm mostly done already but unfortunately I got really sick with my mystery stomach problems again just in time for the Christmas season and just could not finish the new version in time.
To those who I told that I would finish in time for Black Friday I am very sorry. I will likely leave this version up at least until new years day.

Original Description:
The main features of this simulated CBS Rankin Bass Christmas special include Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, The Little Drummer Boy, Santa Clause is Coming to Town and Frosty the Snowman. A few bonus classic Christmas cartoons are also included near the end, And all commercial breaks are packed full of nostalgic Christmas commercials from mostly the 70's and 80's.
The special is not set in a specific time frame so the commercial dates will jump around a bit. Some of the commercials have even been edited slightly to remove the mention of the date. The first and last clip match each other so you can right click and select loop to repeat like a broadcast day. This is good for holiday chores or background entertainment for Christmas company.

@@NicholasMaietta Yeah it has been a crazy ordeal! The stomach issues are a real problem for me these days too and the doctors just can't seem to find the source. Either way I hope your Christmas day is going well, you were lucky to get some beautiful snow the other day. For some reason it is unusually warm around here for this time of year right now.

You know what's funny. If Rudolph the red nosed reindeer had come out in 2023, people would have called it woke for being about accepting your flaws, and having anti racist undertones. (Maybe that's my interpretation of everyone outright disgust with Rudolph) Plus the part where Donner says this is mans work, and then the mother and doe defy him and go on their own adventure. Clearly that was a feminist Sjw influenced moment. Like how new marvel movies have girl power moments. Sorry for the tangent.

I’m only 21, but those commercials are so comforting lol! Me and my siblings were obsessed with Rudolph and would watch it on repeat. We had the original cd that also had old commercials on it! It was my dads that his mom got him when it first came out 🥹 Now my niece and nephews are also obsessed! I have anxiety and suffer from depression, I’m glad I found this tonight to help me sleep 🥰🩵

This is absolutely amazing. Just seeing this again is literally bringing me back to my childhood. I always just remember watching this, the smell of Christmas and the snow. Oh and always watching football in the basement with my family with the best commentators in the NFL period Pat Summerall and John Madden. Thank you for taking me back to my childhood

I want to go back and do it all over ...I am telling you the 70’s and 80’s were my decades and they were the best years of my life. Those decades were quite possibly the last best decades in America. One has to understand that America was absolutely a different place back then. It was still a treat then to get 25 cents from mom and walk uptown to the gas station to get a Coca-Cola or Pepsi or to the ice cream shop and get a CMP ice cream. We truly did not lock our doors and stayed out till after dark with our bikes and on Halloween we all went trick-or-treating without our parents when we got older at night in the cold and it was great fun.. In the summer we played outside all day and all night, The only way my mom got us home to eat was a big brass bell she had outside the sliding glass doors that she would ring to get our attention to come home for dinner. I remember wonderful 4th of July celebrations going on picnics and then mom took us to the ball park and we laid on blankets to watch the fireworks. And of course Christmas and even though it was tuff for my mom raising us she always made sure we had a great holiday . Even Easter was special in America back then... as we got older we started to go see the movies and we really did have the best movies. We had real holidays were we all got together and enjoyed each other’s company. We ate dinner every night together and talked not shouted at each other. We had great stores that are all but gone now in 2023 and great movie theaters and of course the MALLS! It was not the 80’s without a Mall. My very first few jobs were at the mall. First Macdonald’s and then The Gap!. Yes sir those days were GREAT! and we were very lucky to have lived them .... today I don’t even see kids outside and everyone is in fear for safety from crazy people.... I don’t recognize America now..God Bless us all ! (If you can even say that anymore).

When the 6 o'clock fire alarm rang we had to get home for dinner. All Halloween candy my brother and I had to empty the pillow cases on the kitchen table so mom and dad could go through it to make sure it was safe. Years later they admitted to picking out their favorite pieces of candy. Excellent and very blessed memories ❤

I definitely subscribed although I really thought I had already done so? Thank you so much for this upload. First the Rankin/Bass Holiday Specials are in my opinion some of the absolute BEST shows made for kids, again especially during the Holiday season. Adding the classic commercials? That is just the icing on an already loaded cake! Every second of this video brings back so many incredible, wonderful, special, and awesome memories! Thank you so much for this! It means a lot to me. My health has recently declines a lot over the last few years. I was diagnosed with emphysema and heart disease. My Mom passed away from the same illness that I now have(emphysema). So videos like this really made my week!! Thank you again sir, and God Bless!

3:30, wow that's a really old one! I grew up with all the Rankin Bass ones in the 70s. Now live in the UK and just introduced my British partner to them...such charming little movies. I looked forward to them each year.

@Gambit Yeah for sure, I think they were just trying to make him look stressed out by the holiday rush but it ended up coming off like he was just rude. I am willing to overlook it though considering he has some decent moments in the special and he would have a lot of pressure on him at Christmas time too. Thanks for watching/commenting. It's great and all that you uploaded this to KZfaq- lots of nostalgia; but the watermark is pointless. You also don't own the rights to _anything_ in the video. In fact, *you* can be hit with a copyright strike if they bothered to check.

@rift8966 No, I actually can't be hit with a copyright strike. I purposely used stuff that all passed thorough youtube copyright checks and it all got approved. The reason I put the watermark on it is because I assembled all of this content myself into the video project that you see now and I had to manually track down everyone that stole it and reposted my work the first time around because I wasn't expecting everyone to want to steal a christmas cartoon video project from me. If you had bothered to read the description before commenting you would also see that the large transparent watermark was a last minute effort to get the content posted again for my viewers by Christmas after a false copyright strike from someone who thought they owned the rights to one of the public domain commercials I used. It also says that the new version with hidden watermarks and more content is out now.

@@Impactjunky No, I read about the watermark, I just assumed KZfaq, being the bad platform it's become, would just strike it anyway. They've been copyright striking people who are clearly following the "Fair Use Act".
