It’s not. It’s in slight falsetto, and isn’t supported. Making it easy to hit, as long as you have basic technique, and obviously the proper range.

Y'all i want to recommend "purple kiss" they are literally monster's compared to 4th gen group they are extremely talented in vocals dance and rap also choreograph their pre debut song, writes and composed their previous album , they are in MAMAMOO's company RBW, They all have great charisma and stage presence ( RBW artist things ) , check them out if haven't already .

Y'all shouldn't underestimate (G)I-DLE's Vocalists especially Miyeon, Minnie and Yuqi. They sing live, they have strong range, they're stable and they can do acoustic😌. Surprised that I see Yuqi under those ur picks. - my opinion -

You know about Vocals? OK HERE I GO NingNing (Aespa) Vocal range: G3/G#3 - B4/C5. Support is very consistent and developed, head voice could need improvement, sings too lightly make her sound shallow. Her mix is balance but sometimes is heady causing her unable to raise the volume without pushing. Tier: C+ Yuri (Iz*One) vocal range: Bb3 - A4/Bb4. too airy sometime affect her support. her mix is chesty. Tier: D+ Lia (Itzy )vocal range: A3/Bb3 - A4. tends to get throaty, sings shallowly. Becomes very whiny and nasal as she goes over the A4. Tier: D Chuu(LOONA): B3/C4 - G4/G#4. Thin and airy when she sings, prevents proper breath support, has issues with soft palate cause nasality throughout her range also raises her larynx when singing at and above the A4. Tier: E+ Miyeon (G)idle) Vocal range: Bb3/B3 - G4/G#4. Raised larynx and closed throat prevents depth in her voice, lowered soft-palate which makes her sound very thin and closed which prevents proper projection and support. Tier: E+ (I think Yuqi is better vocalist, but she is good too) Haseul (Loona) Vocal range: A3 - G4 inconsistent* Her voice is airy and nasal, Lacks projection in her mix due to limited development of her chest voice, Lower range becomes breathy below the A3. Tier: E+ Mia (Everglow) Vocal range: B3/C4 - G4. VERY nasal, her soft palate is basically fully lowered and she sounds very thin and closed which prevents proper projection and support. her falsetto is often overly airy and she never produces a head-voice . Tier: E Minnie (G)idle) Vocal range: Eb3-E5-G#5. like Miyeon, she struggles with nasality due to a lowered soft-palate, thin and closed which prevents projection and support. She also raise her larynx... Lack of ability to add chest in her mix means she is pretty limited in her versatility and lacks any development of her lower range. TIER: F+ Yes! I brutally HONEST. sorry about that.

Main vocal 1. Ningning 2. Yuri 3. Lia / she has better support range and technique than Miyeon,Minnie,Mia and Chuu . She is better than alot of main vocal of 4th gen. 4. Miyeon/Chuu 5. Minnie/ very shallow support 6. Mia/ no support

vocal is difficult to train and u will only gain an average to above average level if you're a passionate, wise, and a trained singer who have been a dedicated singer eversince ur a child. Most of the idols here are just screaming their voice out which is definitely bad.
