I never thought that out of all Pokémon who dares ruin the viability of Darkrai, Smeargle has to be that Pokémon.

honestly, i kind of felt that the Pokemon designers definitely wanted to do something with Volcanion, since in X/Y there's ingame dialogue that's only found in that game, when the pokemon itself was released when ORAS was a thing. heck, Magearna's thematics makes it more suited for XY, assuming they're pretty much originally supposed to be in Z, since there's gaps in number IDs in Zygarde's textures, which implies that both the red and blue core were supposed to have their own slots, as well as the cores on their own being pokemon. but as of SM, they retconned that only red cores exist and that 100% is composed of 5 of them, to control the wings, tail and head.

Finally someone who doesn’t put Keldeo last or near last. He’s my favourite Pokémon overall because I watched Kyurem vs the sword of justice all the time when I was a kid

Darkrai is one of my favorite Mythicals. I'd say second to Arceus and tied to Marshadow. But they did him so dirty... and it only gets worse... Nerfing the accuracy, I get it, 80% on 2 opponents is nasty, Bad Dream not included, but lowering to 50% is way too low. And I might go a bit on a tangent here, but have you seen Dark Void in The Rise of Darkrai? That's *WAY* more than just 50% accuracy and he wasn't even trying to hit everyone... If it did a bit of damage as well as putting the opponent to sleep and then getting the Bad Dream effect, it would still be good (and it doesn't need high power, even 20 would make the move so much better). Only Darkrai or a transformed pokemon into Darkrai being able to use Dark Void, that makes sense, Smeargle Dark Void was just too strong and omnipresent, but Metronome is random enough in my opinion. As for Assist... debatable, let's not have a sequel to Dive Cat here... Sleep Clause should exist, but it blocks Darkrai's intended niche from the start on competitive formats except for AG. But does it really matter/count where everything but FunBro is allowed? PLA was the first time in a while Dark Void was worth it, so Darkrai was worth it too. The first time Darkrai is available for a normal person is his return to the past glory of almost brokenness, but then this game has no battles against other players.

My own personal favorite pokemon Legendary: Mewtwo Mythical: Darkrai Regular: Lucario Mewtwo is my all time favorite pokemon, but Darkrai is a VERY close second

I have diance in my Y saver bit I think marshadow would be my favourite, when I was young I did absolutely everything (but hacking) trying to get a marshadow, I even followed guides from people with action replays or something like that because I though that's where it would spawn
