this is what i’d consider the most generic and basic list ive seen and yet it’s the exact same list i have lmao. igor is an album i have so many good (and bad) memories attached to and i have to have it as my number 1 as well

Being a long time Tyler fan since I was 14(I’m 22 now) I can tell you Cherry Bomb was absolutely necessary as a stepping stone for the 3 album run that is Flower Boy-Igor-Call Me If You Get Lost that being said here’s my ranking 1.Wolf (Got too much of a personal attachment to this album, absolutely one of my favorite albums of all time I don’t care what anyone says) 2.Igor (Phenomenal body of work, gets better with every listen) 3.Flower Boy (The album that got the media to look at Tyler more and for good reason, one of his best bodies of work) 4.Call Me If You Get Lost (Love this one a lot, especially coming from Igor and hearing Tyler rap again and rapping damn good was a treat) 5.Bastard (The nostalgia with this one man, love this project as well and Dr T.C. is a great alter ego) 6.Cherry Bomb (When I first listened to it I didn’t like it at first but over the years it’s grown on me a lot, Okaga Ca is underrated and Smuckers is a top 5 Tyler song) 7.Goblin (I have nostalgia with this one as well being the edgy teen I was at the time but after these years it just hasn’t aged well and Tyler himself would tell you he hates it but She and Yonkers will forever be bangers)

Been listening since 2013, my list goes: 1. Call Me If You Get Lost 2. Igor 3. Flower Boy 4. Wolf 5. Cherry Bomb 6. Bastard 7. Goblin Certainly Tyler's work has become more conceptual and quality over the years, Wolf was my favourite of his for years and I find Call Me to be the kinda final form of that style of album creation, with a concept linking together all of these stylistically varied songs. Good vid.

Before watch this video I was driving in my car listening to Flower Boy and I was thinking that I have a favorite Tyler album for each season of the year. CMIYGL is perfect for the summer, Wolf for the spring, Flower Boy for autumn and IGOR for winter. This is my top 4, IGOR in the first place (for me it's a 10/10, I still can't believe that the bridge on I THINK is real).

In my opinion tyler is one of the best in the game rn, you can see him improving though the years in his own discography always with innovative ideas. He one of one

Great discussion! Hard to speak on Tyler’s discography without mentioning the consistency of the 2 year gap between each & Track 10. But I agree with the list. Wolf is one of my personal favorites but hard to place it over the last 3.

I would personally switch cmiygl and Igor just because that creativity that came with cmiygl with all the instruments the different sounds etc just really edge it out for me over all the other albums. Great list though

Been listening to Tyler since Goblin. His discography is so hard to rank because it has so many different highs. If I had to rank them personally I'd go. 1. Cherry Bomb 2. Wolf 3. Flower Boy 4. Bastard 5. Call Me If You Get Lost 6. Igor 7. Goblin I know Igor is considered his opus, but I have just never been the biggest fan of it, but Boyfriend is one of my favorite tracks by him of all time. And Cherry Bomb is considered a low, but it grew on me and I think has some of the best Tyler production on any of his albums.

Arguably the most important album right after flower boy, tho his maturing in flower boy wouldn't happen without shifting i cb (this is also mentioned in MASSA). There are very bad songs on cherry bomb, yet i think the overall emotion displayed in some of the songs like okaga, ca; find your wings... I would go as far as to say that cmiygl doesn't have bad songs. It just has less good, and better, yet it seams kind of stale in some parts, almost feels like rapping overly brutal lyrics on goblin just because. Flower boy is just a master piece. It doesn't have a bad song, and it is the most important for his maturing, yet it also seems stale in some parts. I would say that these three share the first place and the rest are being ranked.

I think Cherry Bomb is the the album that showed us his production ability being next level I would have placed it number 3 plus the features performance is top tier. #2 I would put Igor only because I put CMWYGL At #1 Because I had them tied but when you see the way he performs CMWYGL at Lalapalooza it's a notch above.

Wild is for sure a classic

Being the craziest Tyler fan I know, this is my ranking of the albums (very hot!!!) I will be counting from 7-1 because the other way around is annoying 7. IGOR - This already sounds like a troll list but I assure you the reason this is at the bottom is because there are only 12 songs. And it isn't like CHERRY BOMB where there are 13 but a ton of extras, this is the whole project. Super short however it is also very repayable which I will give it credit for. I also think there isn't a single bad track on here, honestly still in my top 20 albums of all time which isn't saying much because it is from Tyler but it is still one of the greatest projects I have listened to. Just very short and not as big of an experience. Top 3 tracks- GONE GONE / THANK YOU I THINK NEW MAGIC WAND 6. Flower Boy - Yes, his 2 favourite albums among fans are my bottom 2. Again, this album is phenomenal however there are a few moments I am not too big into it, I think during summer this is one of the most enjoyable albums but it isn't summer so it isn't quite there. This album is already really nostalgic to me, I never carry air pods and stuff so just thinking about this album while walking home hits different. Awesome album, just not quite his best. Top 3 tracks- Who Dat Boy See You Again 911 / Mr Lonely 5. CHERRY BOMB - Very split album. I believe this is Tyler's favourite album, although that was before the release of CMIYGL when I last heard him say that so maybe not. This album is very important, pretty much the path from old Tyler to new Tyler and I know his newest albums are at the bottom of my list but I still think they are his best. I just have too much nostalgia for the old trilogy that I can't see myself putting these higher but yeah this album is kinda like his MBDTF where it is an imperfect masterpiece and I think that is highly respectable. Top 3 tracks- DEATHCAMP SMUCKERS FUCKING YOUNG / PERFECT 4. CMIYGL - Wow, after the Estate Sale I could honestly see this being number 3 but the legacy of his first 3 albums has kinda placed them in a different arena that can't be accessed. However this album is completely mind blowing and I am so glad he is still this good. If his next album can touch this then I don't think we are losing the GOAT any time soon because his latest streak is truly remarkable. This is easily the best flex album ever, very well deserved, aesthetically super pleasing and just overall a great moment in music. Top 3 tracks- SORRY NOT SORRY CORSO LUMBERJACK 3. Bastard - His debut mixtape, such a great project. I have always lived by the fact that the atmosphere of his first 2 albums have the best atmosphere and I don't know if that could ever change. I remember the first night I heard this album it was super crazy. I went to the shops for food and the whole time in the car and stuff I was thinking of this album (I heard a snippet of Bastard and it got stuck in my head) then when I got home I had my dinner and then played this mixtape. Such a great feat I can easily interchange this with the next two albums depending on how I'm feeling and yeah I just really enjoy this album. Top 3 tracks- Inglorious Blow Slow It Down 2. Goblin - I am tired of people saying this is his worst project, although, I never really get surprised. I think it is his worst project. Pretty lacklustre production, really dark and brutal. But of course, there are always people, like me, who enjoy this album. And I enjoy it A LOT. I think this is his best story album, the ending of the Wolf trilogy. I also think his rapping game was really high on this album. Have you ever heard Steak Sauce??? Just a perfect album for me and when I listened to this I was kind of the target audience (young teenager who had some trouble fitting in) so this did help me be more true to myself and have a better time in school and other social situations. Thanks to this album I can still remain optimistic even in annoying and boring moments and even just listening to this album is enjoyable to me. Top 3 tracks- Analog Yonkers Steak Sauce 1. Wolf - Obviously, kind of his most important album at this point, also his most colourful, energetic album. Has some of his greatest moments ever. Now, this album is good in a very different way to his other 2 in the trilogy. Whenever listening to the other two albums the whole way, you feel accomplished and happy. However when you finish this album the whole way, you feel sad. You want more, you just experienced a fun, energetic, really good album and now you are back to being wherever you are without this album. This (and the OF tape 2) are peak Odd Future in my eyes and nothing can really change this historical benchmark. Top 3 tracks- Rusty Awkward Answer

I remember my first Tyler song was bastard which is just crazy to think it was bastard. I was a Beatles fan obsessed and was very young and at ten years old my friend finds this guy rapping that he's Satan's son and it was a ride

I love the album as a whole. Every song hits. Flower Boy has a ton of bops, some of my favs. I think Who dat Boy was my first Tyler song and I thought it was great. Didn’t get into to till later though. I do like the Estate Sale a lot more than I did CMIYGL so that brings it up to #3 for me. Wolf is a classic. Tamale, Answer, Bimmer, Domo23, etc. Cherry Bomb is rough around the edges but I love it anyway. That also gives it some charm for me too. If some songs were a bit more polished it would probably be above Wolf for me. CMIYGL was just not my cup of tea. There weren't many songs I really loved like with Wolf or Cherry Bomb. Bastard. There are some songs I like for some reason Blow, Parade, and Tina (It's funny af to me. Some call this Tyler's worst song. Strong disagree😢). Sarah is a classic but not something I could really play often y'know. Goblin. Not a big fan. It's got some ok songs but I don't care about most of it. I like one of the instrumental tracks a lot.

I’ve been a fan since I was 7, and my dad never really wanted me listening to Tyler (mom was fine with it but whatever.) since I got into him after wolf, dad always thought he was too vulgar and a bad influence. Igor is now one of his favorite albums ever. Just proves how far Tyler has came.
