Hey guys! Today we are going through the 18 eyeshadow palettes I have tried out so far this year and ranking them from worst to best! These are all the palettes that I tried out from January to July. I love doing these videos because it forces me to really be critical of my palettes and think about which ones really stand out (I am generally pretty easy to please when it comes to eyeshadow palettes!) I'd love to know what your top palettes have been so far this year! I hope you enjoy this one!

No. It’s not old. I just got the little marvels palette in the sale! 7 looks. Please!!! I saw an influencer use the lavender For the transition and the burgundy color as the crease. It looked awesome!

@HeatherAustin I’ve been on a real low buy because I was in a bad car accident (not my fault) and my car was totaled. So I had to buy a new car. But, I keep seeing your palette all over and am definitely going to take the plunge and purchase it! How can I not? It’s just that good!!

I've been on a low/no buy for a few years now and I am very selective about which eyeshadow palettes I purchase. I finally ordered that ABH palette a couple of days ago and I cannot wait for it to come in! I've been drawn to it since it launched but I'm glad I waited because now I know I really want it and I'm not just impulse buying. I'm so excited to use it! Your makeup style is very much like mine and I thought you had some really great picks in this video. 🙂

A great show! Happy to see the Nabla palette; I've been using it 4 or 5 times a week since it came out and I'm not bored yet! This price level is unheard of for me, I'm usually finding wonderful things at TJMaxx and Marshall's. But this Nabla came to me by way of a generous friend with a gift card for me, so I think of her every time I open the lid. Thank you so very much for this video! I hope you do another for blushes!

I just got Tiny Marvels in the Christmas in July sale. I was going back and forth on whether to get it. I’m so glad i picked it up!! It’s SG’s excellent quality and the color story is so inspirational! I’m going to get so much use out of it 🤗😍

The only one I own is the mini PML one. On a low buy, the only one that tempts me is the ND pastel palette. Thanks for the ranking and all the swatches! Beautiful eye look. 😍

I adore my pallets! It makes me giddy every time I look at them and unfortunately I think I have more than you now. Crazy I know. I think you need to try the Huda Beauty Rose pallet. I know that’s not the full name but it has amazing formulas and it’s beautiful!

I just ordered the ABH pallet. I have been wanting it for a while!! Can’t wait to see how it looks on me!! Love you videos. My looks just never look as pretty as yours. Ever think about doing a video based on eye color and what colors look best?? I struggle on what goes with what. Example blush, eyes and lips!

Love your videos! I use to gave dry skin on my face and I’ve tried so many products!! I now use about 4 drops of winky lux face oil and Bobbi brown moisturizer, eye creams and then the vitamin primer…it’s crazy how soft my face is! I’m 62 and have used serums,Tatcha anything you can put on your face and it’s crazy that a couple good quality items can change your face. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and love your opinions

In the last 1+ year, I’ve curated my favorite colors and tones with Only Sydney Grace singles. I haven’t bought a actual palette in a long time. Sydney Grace shadows are definitely my favorite! Fabulous colors and wear beautifuly. I think I have about 24 in my collection now. 💖

I will likely do this going forward too. SG is my favorite eyeshadow brand, and am over palettes to be honest though I have the Enduring Love palette and that is my favorite one in my little stack. But yeah, I try to think through purchases and not buy impulsively. I just end up with more than I can use. A handful of creators talk about SG but not that many, and even less people talk about singles. It's all about palettes these days I guess.

You do the absolute BEST reviews Mandy!! You are clear, concise and use great descriptors to really sum up the product. You are kind, thoughtful and just chatty enough but you stay on topic. I wish I had a little bit more of you in me so that I could organize my life better, lol! I'm all over the place! I wold love to see a series where you revisit your palette rankings from past videos and see if some of those palettes that you thought might climb or fall in your ratings actually did that. I love “revisiting old favorites” type videos and I think this would be so fun! My top palettes of 2022 so far are easily the palettes from Tresluce Beauty, particular the Flor de Mexico palette. The shimmers in that one are mostly that sparkly topper texture and have so much dimension, and the mattes are stunning. I also have their other two large palettes (their small palettes are mostly smaller versions of their large I Am palette so don’t get both!) and this is by far my favorite eyeshadow discovery of the year!

I love the style of video that you do because I too love eyeshadow pallets. I’m now going to get the2 essence pallets you have and ranked higher. All I got was th taupe and greens. But the tiny marvel pallet I bought during Christmas in July. Along with coffee talk, California coast, where the wild things grow, and mountain trails. So now I’m on a no buy try where the wild things grow I’d love to see the looks you come up with. And mountain trails

I almost bought Tiny Marvels but did not. I am really trying to not buy any more palettes, but it was quite tempting. Glad to see that so many others are enjoying it and other SG shadows. They are my personal favorite.

Oooh…. I really like that Nars palette. I will say the darkest shade in the palette, it’s hard to use, it does work to deepen, but it’s a little work. If that shade was a little easier, it’d really be an awesome palette! I brought that palette with me everywhere we went this summer. I still really like it despite that deep shade not being as easy as I’d like.

I have the ABH nouveau palette too and love it. The muted greens work so well on my blue-grey eyes, the only shade i don’t tend to use much is the duo chrome teal-brown. I would prefer it didn’t have the reddish brown in it and was just teal.

I bought the Nabla cutie "Midnight" palette well over a year ago, and yes the quality is great and the shades are very pigmented but I am with you...I should have known I wouldn't reach for it often, it not my style. I then feel guilty when I don't use my palettes enough, because they do have feelings, lol. I understand 😉 The AbH palette is very tempting but I have some of the older ones like Carlyi Bybel and Jackie Aina I need to use more first!

The only palettes I have tried this year are not actually from this year except for one and I have loved all of them, I have gotten the ND midi pastel and midi zendo palettes, and give gotten the Sydney Grace and Temptalia collection and the mountain trail palette this year as my first ever Sydney Grace purchase and I am loving having the Sydney Grace palettes

That mini pat McGrath reminds me of the Mary Kay makeup I used to have years ago. I Think it was the year 2013. You’d buy an empty magnetic palette for roughly $15-$18, then you could put in 6 shadows around $7 each, that’s $42 for eyeshadows, + the palette at $15 let’s just say (might be more), that’s $55 For an eyeshadow palette with 6 shades the same size as that mini pat McGrath palette!!! I don’t know the weight of the eyeshadows, maybe the pans were deeper I don’t know, but they were of similar size. And the palette looks to be the same size. I need to see if I saved one somewhere, I think I did.but not sure where I stashed it, lol.

I think you’d like the vieve muse palette, have you tried it? I also really love the vanity makeup cosmetics “the signature palette.” But that one is pricey. I don’t wear neutrals too often, but it’s a staple, along with some that you mentioned. I tried glamlite this year, and it’s now one of my favorite brands. I feel like they do color so well, while always having options to make the looks more wearable.

I’m still considering the ABH palette. It’s so soft yet bright. I just purchased the Euphoria palette from Profusion. It’s a very glitzy cooler toned palette. It’s not shades I wearing all the time but I could mix in with my staple palettes like the ND Glam. I’ve found the blues are a bit dryer so they’re easier to blend. ‘Still testing this one out. The Smoky palette from Profusion is good as well.

Midnight Voyage is one of my fav palettes of the year. I like it small, easy to fine, use ...has a nice mirror. Can do different looks, very beautiful. I use it way more than expected. Not the biggest fan of her palettes, pricy and often only 1 or two shades I really like. But using this one often even tho I prefer more color. Go figure.

Hi Mandy! Because you ranked the ND Pastel palette so high, I was curious if you were considering testing and reviewing the new Juvia’s Place pastel palette. Like you, I love my neutral shades, it I am also very intrigued by what you said about the ND Pastel palette being a way to put a toe in the colorful shadow pool, but it comes with such a steep price tag. While it likely isn’t a dupe, I wonder if the Juvia’s Place palette could do the same thing at a more affordable price.

Have you tried Juvia's Place Garden palette? Love to hear your thoughts/looks. Similar feel to the pastel Natasha Denona, but not the same shades.

The new abh palette is absolutely beautiful!!!! It unfortunately doesn’t work for me. The colors seem to drain the color from my face/complexion. They’re not flattering on me. But that’s just me. The colors themselves are absolutely beautiful! Makes me so sad!!! If I stay away from the greens it’s ok on me… it it’s not my favorite just because it doesn’t flatter my skin tone, it washes me out. But, I think the looks I’ve seen on KZfaq have been so so beautiful!!! I still like looking at the palette. 😬, lol

I love eyeshadow palettes next foundations, I agree on half your fails but like some you didn't, your eyeshadow looks sometimes look like they come from ones you don't like🤔 To me maybe I'm wrong but the Nars and the SG palette look like they have some similar colors 🤷‍♀️I love the ND palette looks good on you!

But doesn’t most of the nouveau palette pretty much in the little marvels palette and the other colors are in previous palettes like the soft glam and the carli Bybel one. Now that would be cool to compare.
