For those of you that haven't been on Steel yet, they fixed the loose article policy. They put small-ish pouches under the seat, big enough for glasses, wallets, and even phones. So you can now use your phone in that two hour wait. Edit: The double sided lockers are a godsend.

Steel Vengeance is the only roller coaster I’ve ever been on that made me laugh uncontrollably for its duration.

I went into steel vengeance expecting a perfect coaster and it still exceeded my expectations, it is truly amazing

I would most DEFINITELY put Twisted Colossus at the top, and I will tell you why!: It's the only one I've ridden... 😂😭 (However, it is still my number 1 coaster)

This is hilarious.. I just learned about RMC coasters when I went to Cedar Point for the first time a month ago. I knew nothing about RMC or the legend of Steel Vengeance. I stepped off that coaster, and immediately was blown away. My exact words were, that's the greatest roller coaster of all time. Then, I went to Six Flags New England about two weeks ago and rode Wicked Cyclone. I was pleasantly surprised and even related it to a "mini" SV. It's funny that my first two RMCs are #1 and #2 on your list, because I haven't ridden any others yet! HAHA. Can't wait for the one at Busch Gardens Tampa to open!

Wicked cyclone is my favorite roller coaster I love how it keeps throwing elements at you, I've even got a hoodie, mug, and cape of it. Unfortunately it's the only RMC I've ridden and I got snubbed from steel vengeance this year when it started storming

My home park is Kings Island, and it was my first park that I really got to experience all the roller coasters (I went to Silver Dollar City I was small, cus we lived in north Oklahoma). Last summer I went with a group of friends to Cedar Point for the first time, and it was amazing. I was so lucky to ride Steel Vengeance as my first RMC. Definitely going back again this summer!

Im Really happy that you put wicked cyclone at number 2 because its the only rmc i've been on and boy did i love it. That also includes the 1 hour wait in the rain

I love the outward banked airtime hill too, but I wouldn't hype it to the best element on a coaster, or even SeVe! The drop off the 'brake run', barrel roll in the structure, first drop and bunny hill 'pops' at the end are all better in my opinion. For me, that hill was more of floater, which is nice (with a great view), but not near the top of my list! Thanks for the vids, keep it up!

Sadly the only RMC I had the privilege of riding so far is Lightning Rod at my home park, DollyWood. But I love how You rated it! I rode it for the very first time in June 2019, and I love it! It now ranks above Thunderhead as my favorite DollyWood coaster😀❗️

Wicked cyclone is the only rmc that ive ridden and it is my favorite coaster of all time. The airtime was spectacular, the drop was intense, the inversions are fun, and it is a nice long intense ride. Thx for ranking it high this coaster has a special place in my hart.

This was great! Glad to see another enthusiast admit that SV is the best. I find so many being afraid to admit it because they don’t want to agree with the GP or they feel they need to be different.

I have only been on Steel Vengeance, Wicked Cyclone, and Twisted Colossus but looking at this list, I guess I have picked the right ones. Steel Vengeance is the perfect coaster. I walked off that thing with my 9 year old son at the time and couldn’t even imagine what was going through his head. It is an absolute engineering marvel. Wicked Cyclone is at my home Six Flags New England park so it is always a must do when I go there and I actually go to Magic Mountain quite a bit too, so I always make sure I catch a few rides on Twisted Colossus while there.

I got put in the back row on my first ride on SteVe... I don’t think I can ever forget that coaster

We went to Cedar Point over the summer, and one day it rained so the park was closed for a few hours. We went back later and barely anyone was there so we got to ride Steel over and over again! It was the highlight of my summer!

Try Outlaw run on row 7. I had the same issue about it roughness, and row 7 was like a magic trick for me.

Agree with the Raptors being overrated, but they are still awesome

Great list! 👍🏾 For the most part this ordering didn’t surprise me, but the two unexpected aspects were (1) the fact that The Joker wasn’t in your bottom three, as it is for almost everyone else, and (2) that the Raptors came in dead last. The uncomfortable seating/restraint situation on the Raptors is a significant detriment, but for me the high intensity more than compensates for it. After my first few rides on RailBlazer, I had to mull over my experience for a while, but I ultimately put it just ahead of Iron Rattler in my steel coaster ranking.

Interesting list. The Raptors are quite polarizing. People either love them or rank them as the lowest RMC's. I have yet to be on the Raptors as when I was at CGA earlier this year, RailBlazer was not open, but I plan to ride both Raptors in 2019. I have ridden 6 of the 12 remaining RMC's in the USA. Joker is far in a way the worst that I have been on. Still a good coaster, it's pacing really slowed down throughout the ride. The next 2 on my list a pretty close and actually mirrors how you rank them- Goliath and Twisted Cyclone. I have Goliath just ahead of Twisted Cyclone. My third favorite RMC that I have been on is Storm Chaser. Incredible air time on this coaster. It is some of the strongest ejector I have experienced. My second favorite is Twisted Colossus, which also happens to be my home park. I have over 130 rides on it. Just a great ride. My favorite RMC And my favorite coaster I have been on is Steel Vengeance. I got 9 rides on it over 3 days in May. Great ride. Plan on hitting up a few more this year- RailBlazer, Wonder Women, and Iron Rattler for sure. New Texas Giant, Lightning Rod, and Twisted Timbers are maybes. I find it interesting that you didn't like Outlaw Run and just how much you liked Wicked Cyclone.

I think I've said this before, but the outward banked turn on SV in the back is one of if not THE BEST the best coaster experience in the world.

My Girlfriend, her 2 Daughters, and I was at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio for the first time May 2019. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to ride Steal Vengeance. Hopefully we'll ride it next year when we go on vacation. I've rode Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom it's my home Amusement Park.

I live 30 mins away from Cedar Point so every Thursday during summer i am blessed with the pleasure of riding steel

Awesome video I love your channel. You have only made 1 video that I have disagreed with you on but that is fine because everyone has there own opinions. I really love the place u placed joker. I really think it gets a lot of hate just like you said. Discovery kingdom is my home park and I think joker is awesome it has some solid airtime, great drop (at least in my opinion), and some fun elements. I personally think the layout is solid overall it’s just so underrated by most coaster enthusiasts. Glad your not one of them. Keep up the good work man. 👌👍

The closest RMC to me will be (future tense intended) the custom Raptor Jersey Devil. Otherwise it is the one that's ranked #2 here, at Six Flags New England which is nice to see lol (My home park is a small park and it's not very great) The other ones I'd be willing to travel to ride are Twisted Timbers and of course Steel Vengeance

For me it is hard to rank lightning rod so high due to only having one ride, it was fun, just hard to determine the experience from one 2nd row ride

I’ve ridden 5 RMC Ibox track coasters. I’d put twisted at number 2. Or even tie them at number 1. Steel vengeance is tall, awesome and fast and I’ve even said that thing acts like it’s getting paid money to rip you out of your restraint. But twisted is a force to be reckoned with as well. It’s got ejector time and it’s got the double run. And it’s got the top gun inversion that hangs you upside down forever... but let’s face it here... RMC has really outdone themselves! Hopefully stunt pilot at silverwood will just have lap bars/modified ones. Oh and who knows how gwazi will be!

Railblazer is actually my number 1. I didn’t mind the OTSR’s and loved everything about it. I even found it better than Twisted Colossus.

I shocked that wicked cyclone is number two, but I can't be too surprised because it's my favorite coaster (I've ridden El Toro) but it's the only RMC I've ridden.

I really loved the raptors, the restraints didn't bothered me as much and I loved the intense layout

I might just have to take a trip and visit Cedar Point at some point.

I think I like railblazer a little bit better because of the “theming” at the bottom of the drop.

Texas Giant often gets made fun of for having no inversions, and it lacking quality speed (from what I've heard). But, it's still a classic RMC that I never get tired off. It's a great RMC for kids starting to ride big roller coasters, and for elders wanting to have a high, but paced, thrill. Texas Giant also has that Texas charm/feeling to it, with the trains being a 1960's car with that iconic cow horn. So, in my opinion, I think it deserves AT LEAST a spot in the top 5 RMC's. 😊

I guess I should be greatful that Steel Vengeance is the only RMC I've ever been on! It is awesome, but I still think Son of Beast would've had a better makeover (that is if it didn't have its issues). SV is still shorter and slower than SoB. My home park is Kings Island, so I guess I'm just a little jealous.

They should slightly speed up the lift on iron rattler and it would rank much higher. I feel like they slowed it down too much lol.

Back row on Lightning Rod is way better than the front rows. Middle rows are really good too but back row is definitely the way to go

I visit my aunt and uncle every Year in California so then we normally go to magic mountain i rode twisted collosus whit my brother and it was so fun he is on the small side so the airtime he gets its just to be jaulous of on goliath he gets the Whole drop airtime and he is only 7 ahahah but he loves it

Interesting to hear you go against the grain and rank Outlaw Run so low. I have heard many talk about its roughness and didn’t really know what they were talking about. However, you describe being stapled as roughness, and yes, that’s something I experienced on this ride that marred my experience. Then again, many RMCs feel as if they staple me.

Only ridden Steel Vengeance, Twsited Colossus, and Twisted Cyclone...Steel Vengeance always #1, Riding Goliath and Twisted Timbers this summer...

i like TT better than storm chaser, because TT is a lot longer. but SC does have better airtime, just less of it.

Imagine if Disney made an indoor single rail coaster themed to groot. Think about it, they could use projections to make it seem like groot’s vines are the track. Or they could just do a jungle theme.

my issue with New Texas Giant is the windows on the train.

Steel Vengeance of course will win this 9 times out of 10. But I'm telling you. When I went on twisted Colossus and it had a PERFECT DUAL, I was literary high fiving my brother in the other train. That was the best ride I ever want on!!

Wicked cyclone is awesome it's at my home park and a lot of people who would get off of it and say its not too bad but not too good but they were screaming and yelling on the ride. What does that tell you???
