I was actually bored of AC 2 than ac 1 Ac1 is actually a masterpiece

THIS!!! I might be biased since I'm into this kind of genre, but really, my favorite is Odyssey, followed by Valhalla. I've played other AC games before, but it's not really my thing, even Black Flag. I like the sound and the pirate thingy in it, and the assassin mission is cool, but it doesn't give me a sense of progression with just completing missions. I want something that I can invest time in and actually feel the result of. With Odyssey, I can invest time in the premise of being OP since I can grind for armor, weapons, and levels. Also, the replayability is better for me than others since you're not limited to just being an assassin; you can also be a warrior, a stealthy warrior, a hunter, a stealthy hunter, a mercenary, and a pirate. The DLC that those also gave really is massive. The only flaw that I'm seeing here is that it's too grindy, which I don't mind. Though I knew others didn't like it. I get that. I saw someone commented something that really applies to Odyssey very well, something like Ubisoft should instead make Odyssey a standalone game rather than an AC since the most controversial thing I think this game is getting is that players don't feel like playing AC anymore when playing this.

AC3 is one of my Top 3 only issue with it is that it takes a minute to get into the gameplay.

And Side quests aren't called side quests for nothing, you can choose if you don't want to do it because they aren't part of the 'MAIN' quests. I like playing AC: Odyssey because i like the story and the combat, you can choose whether you like stealthy or charge yourself into the battle, and hell it's fun, the historical figures, art and structures are also accurately well-made. I do it for the sheer fun and world build so I respectfully don't like your opinion

Most people don't consider freedom cry to be a mainline game. That's likely why. I personally didn't play Freedom Cry. Plus with this meme format I couldn't fit all Assassin's Creed games in here.

I agree. Having a bunch of content is awesome, yet ppl complain when games like Rogue are too short lol. The only problem I can see with really long and bloated games is getting burnt out after awhile and losing interest. But that can be fixed just by putting the game down and coming back to it when you want to again.

I'll be honest syndicate was one of the few AC games I never got around to playing. To this day I don't know why I never picked it up.

That'd be Unity for me. Like, Unity is my go-to game when I just wanna spend some time playing some Assassin's Creed and just forget about what is going on around me (which isn't much, usually). Everyone keeps whining about how bad Unity is but like, honestly I actually love it.

What do you mean? It was fun, why do people hate brotherhood so much, it is meant to be like that, ezio didnt had to be in the shadows and kill his enemies, just rebuilding rome, thats why it is like a knight game, it has to be like that.

Great comment. A lot of people (myself included) just feel like the newer games are just bloated. Like in the older games they had mini missions and side quests but those were at least somewhat tied to the story. The missions in these games don’t enhance the story. It’s just busy work. Odyssey for example has a lot of missions that just don’t do anything for the character or the story. I just did a video where I go a little deeper into it. Check it out if you’d like.

@@Kowabunnga yeah I see what you mean, but either way I like the fact that the game gives me things to do in it even if they don’t do anything for the character or the story, I least there’s activities you can do, giving you reasons to keep playing the game, I like the combat system, it’s a beautiful game, it has good characters in my opinion. But at the end of the day I just enjoy the game for what it is, yeah I also have my complains, but I have so much fun with the game at those complains become so minimal. I didn't it's horrible or the worst game ever. The game was just really bloated and not a true AC game. Like there was just too much going on. This is a good video game but not a good Assassin's Creed game if that makes any sense.

AC needs to be a semi open world game like how AC 2 and 3 were. And then there's bloatware (unnecessary missions) all over the map. Why are Assassins fighting mythical creatures? Ubisoft doing too much.

@@Kowabunnga I might be biased since I poured in 80+ hours in Odyssey, did almost everything except a couple generic/repeat missions and got the Platinum, but I didn't consider it bloated. I was genuinely interested. The mythical fights were interesting and it's not like other AC games were completely historical either. The whole Templar-Assassin narrative makes no sense and shouldn't even exist in AC2 as the Templars were dissolved like a century before the game's events.

Don’t get me wrong I love a long story driven game but games like Valhalla, Origins, and Odyssey just had a lot of clutter and busy work that did nothing for the character or the story itself. For example, in Odyssey why am I killing a shark for someone who lives deep in the map nowhere near water. Missions like that don’t contribute anything to the game or story.
