I've been keeping up with your breakdown videos on Omniverse and the original series which actually got me to finish Omniverse as I couldn't keep up and lost interest when airing. Ngl I have this weird soft spot for Alien Swarm because of the memories I have from watching it. Its definitely not perfect, but for a Ben 10 live action movie on a limited budget, I'd say it gets the job done as a guilty pleasure.

I had a DVD for Alien Swarm and I watched it so freaking much. The Aliens looked pretty good and the Swarm was actually slightly terrifying. The introduction of Nanomech certainly helped

@njivwathomassilavwe2056 if there's one unanimous thought fans have about the aliens in Alien Swarm, is how impressive the CGI was on them. The biggest problem is how they kept cutting back to the others whenever they showed up to save on CG budget.

1. Secret of the Omnitrix It feels like a series finale, stakes are much higher, galactic adventure, waybig throwing vilgax. It's the best movie 2. Destroy All Aliens Ben turns to many aliens fighting Dadzmuth and Waybig fight. This movie is full of action 3. Race Against Time It's a wacky movie. I loved ben met people who turned out to be plumbers. Greymatter scene. That's it 4. Alien Swarm CAR SHOT, there's barely any alien and Nanomech fight, I couldn't tell what's going on. 5. Reboot Movie Haven't watch reboot yet

As someone who has and unironically enjoys the Reboot, the movie is it's weakest point. Like I love a lot of things about it: Ben and Gwen actually getting along the majority of the time, the fact it has shorts dedicated to the aliens' home worlds, Kevin having a version of the Omnitrix, Ben (briefly) having a Vilgax mode... but the movie is just a bunch of plots crammed together.

@@iunnoo there's one scene where Way Big's symbol is Grey instead of green and its exactly when he transforms, look closely. I wonder why they changed the CG model for him though, unless that was just a bright reflection that made it look Grey.

My biggest problem with Alien Swarm is Kevin's car; it is meant to be a _classic_ muscle car, the episode Paradox explicitly states that it was factory fresh in 1976.

I actually met director Alex Winter at a premiere for his documentary The KZfaq Effect. He was really cool and I told him how much his live action movies meant to me as a Ben 10 fan. Though I may have been over excited while talking to him. Also his co-directorial debut Freaked is one of the great cult classics out there.

The Reboot had a few great ideas, such as an army of conquerors who use the Omnitrix to track down the next planet to conquer, or giving the Circus Freaks more to do than just be three more enemies to get rid of, not to mention Vilgax being pretty cool. The problem is that they just fail at everything else. Season 1 is a series of unrelated episodes, with one main plotline IN THE LAST 4 EPISODES, Season 2 continues the plot naturally and is probably the reboot's best season (outside of Upgrade voiced by BW Depth Charge being absent). Season 3 has it's own story separate from the first 2, and then got an extra 12 irrelevant episodes to sell toys, and Season 4 has no plot except in the first 2 episodes & the movie, not to mention the 3 specials which were just there to provide fan service whilst being weaker.

Whether it be a cameo or a small role it would've been fun to a random A list celebrity in a tv movie. (Both Winters and Reeves were Bill and Ted so I'm assuming they kept their friendship tight)
