Speed form is a balance bulk and offense form with high speed, letting it have interesting plays in more roles than just set up. However, it being the fastest taunt user and fastest hazard setter makes it very difficult to justify any other niche for it since everyone wants hazards for game control. Its not bad. Its definitely better than normal form Deoxys. It's just its one niche it is literally the best of options to use for that niche, so its basically unheard of to run any other set for it.

@@TornadoGames1 Prankster triggers same priority as things like Quick Attack, meaning S Deoxys has means to damage an opposing Prankster mon that wishes to try and use Prankster Taunt. Prankster Klefki currently is the only mon that has +1 priority hazards. Given its amazing typing it also can manage a bit better defensively than S Deoxys to boot. S Deoxys is the fastest hazard setter and Taunt user that does not have priority on set up.

@@ctooocdeoxys attack is literally just a wet noodle. Yes, it dishes out tons of damage, but it can get outprioritized by fake out and mega ray is objectively better, being WAY BULKIER and still having 180/180 offensive stats

Deoxys speed is really, really good as a hazard setter to the point where in singles, at least it is banned to and good in the ubers tier. The fact that a hazard setter is and has been too oppressive for the main competitive tier really says how good it is although I am not sure it was good in gen 3 for hazards but probably for more offense oriented reason as stealth rocks didn't exist until gen 4. It is either the second or the best form to attack form. Defense has been ubers due to similar reasons as speed but not only has it not really been good but in the unofficial national dex tiers, it is ru bl which is just below uu which is below ou and uu bl which is below ubers and third place is normal as it is diet attack but it is too strong even in nat dex.

You are super high if speed is at last. He is probably number 1 or 2. Strictly better than defense, since it does the same job but better, incredibly bulky for a pokemon that fast and an amazing lead. Meanwhile deoxys normal is just deoxys attack but worse

@@ctoooc Where is Deoxys-D more used than Deoxys-A? The only one which could match its viability is Deoxys-S since there pretty mich on par in viability ranking. Deoxys-D is pretty bad since there better options.

@@ctoooc it has a higher usage in Ubers than Deoxys defense. Defense form is the only form that has ever dropped from Ubers as well and is by far the worst. It's incredible defense is trivialized by it's laughable hp stat and it really only has a niche as a pp staller.

Btw deoxys normal imo should have a base 50 in hp and 110 on everything else so as it is the baseline for the rest of the forms and can be different than diet attack form.

Competitively speaking it should be like this : 1. Deo-A 2. Deo-N 3. Deo-S 4. Deo-D (Especially since he doesn't look good in RU he's ranked at C+ in Viability rankings over there)

In the main games attack Deoxys does really well despite having next to nothing Defenes due to speed being a thing in the main games that determines which Mon attacks first and thus attack form Deoxys is still really fast, but not quite as fast as the speed form obviously but it is the 2nd fastest Deoxys forma while having insane offense that it is still basically out speeding anything that isn't speed form Deoxys and thus with insane stats it likely to one hitko everything while attacking first thus making a good sweeper as it's able to outspesd and one hit ko to avoid being attacked. In Pokemon Go however Attack Deoxys is the worst since speed stat isn't a thing nor is it the determining factor on which Mon hits first as that has to do with moveset. Thus in Pokemon Go attack Deoxys is the least viable and pretty much same with normal as it's defenses are similar with just being alittle bit more defenses for a little bit less offense than the attack but still not enough defense to hold it, still close to nothing. Thus in Pokemon Go the best most viable Deoxys is Defense due to being really good and viable mainly in Ultra league but also great league as well

This guy clearly has no clue about this topic. Base form should be place 4 w/o doubt since there’s no reason to run it if you can run Deoxys-A. So it’s pretty much unviable. With that said Deoxys-D is on place 3 since it’s mono Psychic which isn’t s good defensive typing, there’s also no reason to run it over other Psychic walls like Necrozma-DM. While both Deoxys-A and Deoxys-S are pretty mich on par in terms of viability I’d also give the first place to Deoxys-A since it was and is a pretty potent sweeper and was a little higher ranked in past Gens which give a slightly edge to it.
