I purchased the Makeup by Mario after your review and I find myself reaching for it daily. It’s fun to try different combos even if they seem similar. Plus, I did a smokey eye with the grey shade and my hubby of 32 years actually said “Grrr, baby!” when he spotted me so there’s that😃

I hate going by trends like if you like full glam then do so or if you like minimal makeup you can do that too but people shouldn’t do it just because it’s trendy that’s just me though I love doing full glam colorful eyeshadow makeup and don’t like the whole “clean girl” esthetic except for when I have to like if I’m working at my job but that’s just my preference

I get that there aren't that many releases but I'm sorry Brands like Ensley reign cosmetics and Unearthly cosmetics and Adept have been releasing some really nice palettes so I don't really get what she is saying she used to post about eyeshadow palettes and not she doesn't really anymore so I find her content boring now

I purchased the original ground works Danessa pallet and wish I would have returned it. I just don’t find it easy to work with - wore it today. Used cream then set with power on top - her powers from the palette and another for sparkle - it began to disappear within hours. Just blah for me.

For the Blooming Romance pallet, I find it blends easiest with a very wet beauty blender. If I spray it with a setting spray then blend, it looks so good on the skin.

I wanted to say that I love both of the DM groundworks pallets. When I travel I only carry them both with her all shimmer pallets. I sometimes will carry a few ND minis for extra colors. I live them on the lips as well with a little gloss.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with these palettes. I have only purchased one palette this year. It was the Charlotte Tilbury Super Nudes Easy Eye palette. It is a nice palette for travel & easy for day to day. Last year, I had purchased 6 palettes by the end of April.

you raised such a good point about the slow down of eyeshadow palette releases this year (and even last year). I feel like I am not seeing as many eyeshadow palettes I am interested in this year nor am I buying that many - I think I bought all of two this year. The current trend still seems fixated on face products, especially foundations and blushes.

That #1 spot eye palette is very similar to the Petits Four Amalie. The Praline Epices (pronounced epis). The biggest difference is the shimmers. There is this greenish shimmer I love in the Amalie, which has 2 very similar amber mattes and then green and pink shimmers.

I'm on a Viseart kick lately. A lot of brands hopped on the "one and done" train, but I have not found better than Viseart for this. I am currently IN LOVE with their Isolde and Roses Lotus quads. I love their petite size, their blendability, they are so reliable. Their color story is a bit too repetitive, I would love some new color stories from them, but with the same awesome formula

Oh my goodness I am terrible with eyeshadow but for some reason the Danessa M. Palette works soo well for me lol but I think I am into super springy pinky looks 😅 I always go with your recommendation this was the first buy I actually said well let me see and I was sooooo surprised it works for me but your reviews are on point because I learned I do like that weird creamy texture for eyeshadows and blush! The eyeshadow palettes that I tried in 2024 that are still my favorites are: - Ace Beauté Mystic Romance Palette -> my number one for when I do have special occasions - Colourpop Deja Brew Eyeshadow Palette -> I only wore this for winter 2023/2024 and it's the most neutral I'll get for an eye look - Covergirl Clean Fresh Clean Color Eyeshadows in Spiced Copper and Mellow Mauve - L.A. Girl 4 Play Eyeshadow Palettes in Seduce and Feel Good -> so pretty when you combined these two - Milani Glided Mini Eyeshadow Palette in It's All Rosé -> just the prettiest spring eyeshadow palette - R. E.M. Beauty Midnight Snacks Eyeshadow Palette in Midnight Snack - Too Faced Pop The Cork Set -> my cousin got me it and I can't stop wearing it

I was gonna buy the Prada eye shadow palettes, fortunately I saw videos of how the shadows looked and pass . I'm not in love with the new Danessa Myricks Ground Works palette either, the cream shadows are a little hard to work with. I don't like putty shadows much. Indie companies are still bringing the colorful eye shadow palettes! Viseart makes great eye shadows.Enjoyed the video!
