A few things: -The repair tool is good in the fact that although the driver can repair his vehicle, it takes ages to do so AND can be interrupted. The repair tool fixes that. -K-Bullets are meant to be used to disable the parts of vehicles like the engine and interrupt repairs. I've also used them to take out artillery trucks solo.

K bullets can disable turrets from tanks and behemots, stop them from repairing and if you doble tap them you sicle a bullet out of the rifle so you can reload a striper clip instead of shooting it or reloading 3 - 4 bullets individualy

K bullets are weak but certainly the most viable sniper gadget After the flare to me, maybe because i'm an aggressive sniper. The damage is low, but It stops tanks from repairing and saves a shot from the at Rocket if you hit all 5 of them( never use k bullets with the lebel)

Trench perescope can be really useful for Artillery vehicles when there's a flag cap going on.Measuring distance can be important for Artillery truck players who know the close bullet drop of the shell and marking on the minimap with the Trench perescope can also be very useful.

Your argument about the repair tool is not objective at all.The driver's repair shit is completely useless in a real fight.Because a single fucking tick can prevent you from repairing.That doesn't happen with the repair tool at all.And if you're afraid of getting shot then use the squad support landship.It has an iron thing on it which protects you from the bullets if you are on the tank under that thing and repairing the tank.

The trench periscope is absolutely amazing. It fits well even in an aggresive Scout loadout.

The reason I use the trench periscope is that i like to see the distance of the enemy, and for the zeroeing distance on the gun.

Remember, the repair tool is the only way to get stationary weapons back up, which can make a HUGE difference, especially on operations. Between that and the ability to partner with a tank to actively repair it while it's under fire and it can make a substantial strategic difference. The Trench Periscope is very similar. If you position yourself well, you can 3D spot the entire enemy team pushing objectives.

The K bullet is to stop the vehicle from repairing, and to disabled the planes

AT mines can also dig Trenches.And that's a really solid cover if you don't want to die.

the shield is not that bad i usually put it in front of a door so enemy's have to mantle over it and it is easier to kill them

A actually use the flash flare when I need to switch cover from enemy fire or run away from enemy fire, also you can use it in tight rooms full of enemies as it also burns, I have quite a few kills with it lol

You forgot to mention that the spot flare gun can cause damage to infantry and get kills as well. I love the flare gun. It spots enemies and can also burn the enemy and block passages for enemies to not want to run over your flare and also when you go to an ammo kit it replaces flares very quickly and you can literally spam the gadget.

I´m not against camping, I way prefer that than being quickscoped like in Call Of Duty.

The repair tool is useful when you're in a tank squad, you can get out in a smoke screen and fix the tank so the driver can still shoot. Also in heavy bombers you can repair the plane while the driver still moves.

Spotting Flare wants to know your Location

the dynamite's biggest upside imo is that it can blow up walls very easily, it helps a lot flanking enemies trough walls when they dont expect it, and destroying their cover

The scout decoy is meant to have its stick hidden and either peaking over objects such as walls or a rock of some sort to cover it or when there isn't any cover, you could use it when you're prone which minimises the stick size. The scout decoy is mostly meant for longer distances because its glint when looking directly at it hides the fact that it's a decoy.

I know it seems late, but the repair tool is pretty damn useful. When doing repairs, the driver can't really do anything. The repair tool buys them time incase they need to pull back, or allow them to stay in position while taking damage. It's especially useful on the heavy bombers, where the passenger can repair the aircraft, so the pilot can maneuver to get the gunners a target. Realized I posted years ago, but I feel this comment is better informed.

The trench periscope and flash flare are actually extremely useful in one specific mode. Operations with standard rifles. The zoom from the periscope and spotting defending players camped on the object while protected can make a massive difference in a forward push. The flash flare can also push everyone off a ridge if aimed effectively.

AA rocket gun is pretty good though

Lowkey if you prone out and place the sniper decoys far away, all the enemy scouts can only see the scope glint, so it is a pretty decent distraction on operations like on fao fortress

and for the “binos”, they outline enemies in red, you don’t only tell your teammates where is a enemy, but you show witch part is out of cover and where exactly is the head

I saw the flash flare used really well recently, my team was invading a castle on a hill and the defending team put a flare behind them and we couldn't see them but they could see us

Sniper shield can always be useful if you're in a trecnh with a team.No one wants a sniper bullet in the head.

I use the sniper shield on maps where I have to camp, and not for me - for my LMG wielding comrades. Throw two - yes, u can plant two - in a bunker and watch the machine guns go to town!

The trench periscope’s distance finder is actually quite useful for snipers when your finding your gun’s sweet spot.

The Periscope is actually very helpful if your suppressed as you can easily determined where your getting shot at

I'd love to see DICE fix the flash flare since I think it would be a really cool tactic. Here's how: 1. MAKE IT COMPATIBLE WITH THE SPOT FLARE. This step is extremely important because who the fuck is going to use this if it disallows them from picking the best gadget in the game alongside it? 2. Give them more ammo. Unlike the spotting flare, the flash flare is not very powerful and doesn't last very long, so the player needs more of them to be effective for longer periods of time. I'd suggest 4 or 5. 3. Change the blind mechanic so that there's a clean, sharp border between blinded and seeing well. This makes it more useful because the scout can plop it down and then kill the blinded enemies without worrying about being slightly blind himself. 4. Make it burn enemies more than the spotting flare. This will add to the confusion of target enemies as they are randomly set on fire (with significant effect) if they accidentally step on the flare. Also it will make the flash flare have a unique use as the "set people on fire" gun. 5. Make it make a weird, loud fizzling sound to further confuse enemies and give it more "cool factor", and again, uniqueness. This isn't as important. 6. Enjoy another cool tactic added to the game! I think that this new flash flare would help relieve the bunkers on Monte Grappa, since if the attacker fire a couple into the bunkers, they will cause chaos and the defenders won't be able to throw more explosives or return fire accurately for several seconds, allowing the attackers to get in and sort the situation. If you've read this all, well done! TL;DR: I think the flash gun should be buffed so that it is usable because it would make for a cool tactic.

I think the flare gun flash is pretty useful, it may not spot, but you can put it in front of you to blind enemy snipers, because when they use the scope it will blind them, secondly if you need cover you can shoot it at someone to blind them and proceed to run to cover.

What about ranking all the vehicles

I'm pretty sure you are supposed to put the decoy behind a wall covering the stick...

You will be surprised how fast a few snipers spamming k bullets at a airship behemoth can bring it down.

The main use of the K-Bullets isn't damaging vehicles but to interrupt their repairing so assults can destroy them

I co Sider the repair tool one of the most important equipments in the game. As a tank, my purpose is to break through enemy lines and I can't do that if one of the assaults that makes up 80% of the enemy team damages me and I have to retreat to repair myself. It gives the enemies a chance to spawn/get revived. Any and every time I have a support behind me repairing me it turns the tide of the fight. I win every tank battle and it usually ends in victory for the team because I can do my job as a tank

The periscope is very useful if you find a good spot lime a crater on galicia or Fao. Or the hills in Soma in the trenches. It even outlines spotted targets which makes the foliage concealed snipers easier to headshot. Also i've crippled trains and tanks with K bullet and proudly killed 2 land ships.

well, i gotta say that the trench binocs are very useful to spot enemies from cover and take out snipers. can definitely be used to support the team

Blind flare is underrated, you can use it to hide trip wire bombs, plus it lights people on fire better than the spotting flare, further hurting them so the tripwire kills them easier. I use it to bottlneck areas because most people dont expect to get caught on fire with the flare if they step over it. Gas bomb+tripwire firebomb+fireflare :)

I'm using repair wrench all the time! You can annoy enemy armors with it. Capturing abbandoned vehicles is pretty often too.

I like the scout's flare gun. I've used it to prevent enemies from moving through entrances. The decoy seems interesting though I've never used it, but you'd have to find a wall in a remote area to use it (and all it will do is use up their ammo).

I like the scout gadgets, partially because I'm a dirty filthy camper myself. It's a valid strategy, and definitely more realistic than just charging in guns blazing. I like playing as a sniper, and finding a position that allows me to pick off enemies that may be hidden from my teammates. I also support the team by being a kind of lookout, spotting enemies as much as I can and taking out enemy snipers. I usually run with the spot flair and HE tripwire, although for my long-range loadout exchange either one for a shield. One of the reasons why I play BF1 over other FPS games is because it allows me to play in this way and avoid CQB, which I suck at. On maps were scout just isn't viable, I will usually play medic, and focus on supporting and reviving teammates more than getting kills.

i think the sniper shield is useful for people who need some healing or something it does not have to be used for sniping it can also be used for cover when you have a medbag on you or something like that

I have a repair tool strat First: find an enemy tank and try to get on top of it. Second:once you get on top just beat the tank with the repair tool

Here's my take: Sniper Shield: Fair point about exposing yourself to decent snipers and yes, some people use it to camp, but IMO that's incorrect use. I've used it successfully as a push tool in Operations numerous times. SMGs, Self Loading Rifles and LMGs are generally going to have a hard time hitting the peep hole, so as long as you're well positioned and don't challenge scouts with scopes equipped, you'll enable yourself to get more up close and aggressive. Also, setting it on a slight elevation will allow you to use it as extended cover so you don't expose yourself fully. Periscope: Combine this with the awareness perk and the spot flare and use it to peek from cover and spot enemies on points / near teammates and you've got an absurdly powerful loadout. Not only will you be able to surprise the enemy while playing aggressively, you'll be giving your team in the area an ubsurd amount of vital information and it can save your life if you check an area before pushing. I actually used it almost exclusively today to feed as much information as possible to my team and we steamrolled the enemy in Kaiserschlacht. It was as if we had a constant UAV from CoD overhead😂 Repair Tool: Don't underestimate the usefulness of being able to repair just about anything in the game... Fortress guns can be vital in stopping the enemies from advancing and getting rid of tanks, field guns are absurdly powerful, but extremely vulnerable, AA guns can be a game changer if the enemy has good pilots, etc... And coordinating with a tank, so they can push harder and peek around corners without needing to stop for repairs is extremely useful. K Bullets: As others have said, you can disable vehicle weapons, but I'll take it a step further and say don't underestimate the power of interrupting repairs... If you're smart about it, you could stall a tank's repairs for upwards of 20-30s. This gives Assaults, Supports and Tanks more time to push them and take them out. I think this is the main idea behind the K Bullets tbh. And finally the Mortar: Equip Smoke grenades and a mortar and suddenly you can singlehandedly smoke the entire path towards an obj... Equip Airburst and you can scramble enemies away from high traffic areas, opening up a path or bleed their tickets... Their choice. Equip HE and you're now fully capable of disabling and destroying a tank by yourself, without needing to put yourself in danger. I've gotten a ton of tank kills on Suez like this. Takes some skill to predict where to shoot, but is certainly better than shooting once and getting immediately blasted in the face (*ahem* Assault).

Tip for the decoy head: you dont put it in the middle of a field but you put it in a trench for example, only the head will pop out

I destroyed so many vehicles with K-Bullets, i love them, even tho the most important uses of K-Bullets is not really to destroy stuff, its more usefull as a tool to both damage, annoy, keep constant fire at vehicles and ***most importantly***, interrupt repairs, preventing enemy tanks to recover from fire and giving your teammates a easier time destroying them. Even tho, I have destroyed countless vehicles with them, its more of use to agressive-like snipers and not campers. Regardless, great video and nice kills you've got there with some of those gadgets!

Trench periscope, AA rocket gun, and the K bullets are so underrated in my opinion lol. A lot of people don’t know that K bullets aren’t meant to do base damage to armored vehicles you’re supposed to land 2 or 3 shots on “sweet spots” on them like the light tank turret or the artillery truck wheels and it disables them. So while they don’t do a lot of damage to the BASE health of the vehicle, they do a high amount of “hidden” damage to specific parts of the vehicles and can be super helpful in temporarily putting their mobility or weapons out of commission

As a scout class i use the gadgets of Periscope and explosive traps, but i do run across the map to hunt the enemy, i don't camp in the map

One plus to the trench periscope is it doesnt glare, unlike the scope which gives your position away and you´ll get spotted/sniped. The mortar is nice to repel tanks from behind cover

So I just got BF1 yesterday. So far I've only been doing the War Stories. Personally, I think that the flashbang flare thingy sounds amazing. If someone is out in the open and you blind them, they can't see and then you can shoot them

i mean the Idea of the head on a stick was holding it up from your cover, especially from trenches, to make the enemy shoot the head, waist a bullet, and give you more time to sprint across the field without having to worry about that one sniper. The hole in the head was also used to track down enemy sniper positions. Hope I could help or something

There was this epic moment. Me and my team were defending some trenches when we spotted an enemy tank. We were completely alone, so we set up a trap with dynamite. We detonated the dynamite when the tank was close to us and it gut stuck in the trenches, finally we stormed the tank with anti-tank grenades. I was so happy, so I gave the tank crew the juiciest T-Bag I ever gave to someone.
