I have a funny story about my love for stalemates in these kinds of games. A long time ago, back before mobile games had ads there was a space esque strategy game I would play on my nook color. In the last mission of the game the ai has a large base with a lot of troops so what I did was effectively trap him and keep him from expanding and we just traded units for weeks, I never turned off my nook or left the app because then it would be reset. So I just had ny nook permanently on its charger by my bed. I felt like this story was slightly relevant.

Fort Jordan is a recreation of Deen Fortress of the 1st Halo Wars. that's why he's not so comfortable to play; it is very spacious and was designed to have blockages on the all routes.

How cool would it be to see CNC3: Kane’s Wrath maps in Halo Wars 2? Though, Tiberium fields would be a bit hard to copy exactly. Maybe supply crates with a passive infantry damage drain field under them? Or special neutral buildings?

Fort Jordan's scale seems completely off and it's pretty much unplayable.

Ok im confused because anytime I play on vault we do the "incorrect" formation. I thought it was obvious that you take the expansion bases closest to your homebase. (Layout looking like a grid as opposed to diagonal) I'd say 90% of the time the layout turns out like this with no issues. I thought we were in agreement that the grid formation is correct
