Pretty good analysis. Only ones I would disagree with is the primary Eagles helmet and Steelers . They belong right around the Chiefs helmet. The Bengal's helmets are banging, in both colors.

Philadelphia Eagles that's my team but I have to agree with the standard helmet is not the best. The blackout Jersey's and helmet is the best IMO I love them

The Kelly Green wings are so nice looking, the silver wings look so good I can't get over it. I've been an eagles fan since 2010 so I'm used to the midnight green but the Kelly Green is really nice

Born into the Birds Gang We bleed green. I love the Kelly Green throw back uniform. IMO my absolute favorite EAGLE'S uniform is the (blackout) Jerseys and helmet that is my favorite colors that the EAGLES have worn. I'd love to see Way more of the blackout!

Correction...pewter is a darker gray, but has hint of copper/tan/beige in it. It really compliments the red and orange in Buccaneers uniforms.

My top 5: Bears (throwback): I like the way they do it with the way the stripes are similar to mater dei. Cowboys (throwback): it’s just smooth and flows great with everything. Eagles (Kelly green) the Kelly green and the white wings blend amazingly and the way they did it with it being like they are eagles and flying with the wings and how well it flows and how smooth it is. Patriots (throwback): the pat the Patriot is just awesome. Carries it. It flows perfectly with the uniform but it’s not about the uniform soooo yeah…. But it’s pretty sweet. Titans (Oilers) I might be slightly biased but we don’t talk about that. (I may or may not be a titans fan) aside from that, the logo is awesome. The vintage style is awesome. The stripe on it is just clean and flows perfectly with the logo. The color scheme is perfect. And overall just a great helmet and my personal favorite.

Nice.. I agree with most of these. I definitely agree with liking the Matte finishes much more, too. For some reason, I've never liked the Eagles' uni/helmet design since they replaced the Kelly Greens.. just don't like that shade of green, I guess. Nice list. Kinda tough to hear you, though.. I think you set your backing music too high.

You’ve got great taste, sir. I love the red, standing bison on the old Bills helmets. The only couple things I’d switch would be to trade the Chargers for the Patriots throwbacks (with the Pat the Patriot logo) & I’d switch your #1 & 2 with Tampa at #1 & Houston’s helmet 2nd. Other than that👍👍

Started watching the AFL/NFL around '68 and certainly times have changed in taste and colors on helmets. Personally I prefer the throwbacks better, maybe it's just nostalgia and all but if I rated my favorite throwbacks... 1.) LA Rams in blue/white 2.) Philadelphia Eagles green/silver wings 3.) New York Jets white/green 4.) Atlanta Falcons red/black logo falcon 5.) Oakland Raiders silver/black pirate logo.

The Patriot's helmet from the eighties should be in the top 5 while the Lion's pure silver helmet, without a logo, should be last. The Bengals helmets, which were orange with the team name, were hideous too.😢 Oh yeah, I hate the new Cincinnati Bengals white tiger helmets. Please tell me they are not going to be called the Cincinnati Zebras?! My favorite helmet - is the Denver Broncos block D with the bucking horse in the center of the D. I have no clue what criteria were used for this; the list was all over the place White helmets make the players look like bobbleheads when watching TV My top 5 helmets ranking is: 1) San Francisco 49Ers - 2) Cincinnati Bengals [Alternate] - 3) Las Vegas Raiders - 4) Philadelphia Eagles - 5) Los Angeles Rams WHO DEY! Generally, all animal and person logos look better than letter logos, most modern logos look better than throwback logos and metallic-colored helmets beat matte-finish helmets all the way. I like all the Jets' helmets Cowboys helmets are beautiful the white helmets deserve the 1 spot yes I am incredibly biased yes I know we’re in Cancun right now Younger people prefer logos and uniforms before their time or recollection. Those LT Giants era unis I never liked. Those prior "NY" units are better. I really never want to see the LT era unis again. That Pat Patriot was another ugly old uniform. Always thought the ravens would look nice with a matte or satin alternate, with the front facing bird or the Maryland coat of arms that they wear on their shoulder pads as the helmet logo

Yeah I've always loved the Maryland coat of arms secondary logo. It reminds me of the logo they had in the 90s when they first were formed with the "B" shield and wings. Those old helmets looked awesome as well.

As a New England Patriots fan since about 1968, I have to say that their throwback helmet is at least a Top Five helmet. I hate their silver helmet, but the old white helmet, with Pat The Patriot staring back at you is so cool. It's what sold me on the team, even though i was living in Kansas City at the time, and I really liked the Chiefs helmets back then. Their old AFL helmets had a brighter red, and the logo was bigger, don't like the NFL version as much. Chargers should be higher too, and I like the Atlanta Falcons throwback red helmets a lot.

The Eagles primary green is called midnight green and they used the Kelly green on the regular since the 1935 in various forms on the helmet and uniforms but the throw back helmets they unveiled this year were worn from 1970-1995 then they went to the midnight green

I really enjoy your nfl helmet ranking videos. I added two white stripes to my Commanders mini helmet. It looks much better. Still not a good “W” logo. Agree, Dolphins throwback helmet is better. I like th3 Bengals throwback helmet with the word Bengals on the side. I do like the blue face mask on the Seahawks throwback helmet. I prefer the Oilers light blue shell helmets and wish the Titans had chosen them for their throwback. I much prefer gloss helmet shells to matte helmet shells.

Anything that has to do with the Oilers belongs to Houston. Tennessee changed the teams name and color scheme, it feels like a brand new team. I know the history but the Titans shouldn´t wear any Oilers gear anymore.

When referencing the lions colors, please don't say "powder blue." It's Honolulu Blue. Powder blue is more of what the chargers wear and to a lesser extent Carolina.

brilliant channel you have! I have always been to analyzing and/or ranking logos/designs/jerseys/etc of sports teams! I am counting seconds to see when are you adding those older early 2000s NBA logos rankings! I ready used to enjoy those multi colored non minimal taste era of logos like warriors had that electric-ish warrior with the soard, or pistons had that beautiful horse illustration, or minnessotta had those woods/trees behind the wolf, or the rocket orbit of huston rockets, or the denver metro mountains/city illustration, etc. - please rank them too ! thanks!@@HeapsYT

The Steelers only have their logo on one side because it was cheaper to have it that way. Later on they decided just to keep it that way and it’s been like that ever since.

This is what I found, "At first, this was a temporary measure because the Steelers weren’t sure they would like the look of the logo on an all-gold helmet. They wanted to test them before going all-out." Guess they just decided to stick with it! Still very cool nontheless!

I’m only on the Jets helmets part of the video right now, but I think the throwback jets helmets are sick, much better logo, the green pops so much and the white mask gos amazing with the whole,e uniform. Next thought: I know this is a helmet video not uniform, but I like the cards new unis, but there wasn’t much wrong with the old ones. The only thing I didn’t like about the old ones was the helmet. I think the gray mask looks terrible with the white helmet. Just imagine that helmet with a red face mask. The changed their uniforms, but kept the one thing I hated 🤦♂️

The fact that it took the Seahawks so long to get throwback unis together with the silver helmet was the NFL to only allow one helmet before. That means they only had the dark blue helmet with the new seahawk (eagle) logo and there never was a neon (actually: Action Green) helmet.

He was too young to be around in the 80's, which explains why he prefer throwback helmets at lot. If you were around, you would have felt great when the 90's came along and they had more radical designs. Some that may be too ambitious for today. I cannot think of many throwbacks that I would want as regular uniforms today, except The Eagles going with silver pants. NEVER bring back Pat Patriot!

The Patriots helmet from the eighties should be in the top 5 while the Lions pure silver helmet, without a logo, should be last. The Bengals helmets, which were orange with the team name, were hideous too.😢 Oh yeah I hate the new Cincinnati Bengals white tiger helmets. Please tell me they are not going to be called the Cincinnati Zebras?! My favorite helmet - the Denver Broncos block D with the bucking horse in the center of the D.

Younger people prefer logos and uniforms before their time or recollection. Those LT Giants era unis I never liked. Those prior "NY" unis are better. I really never want to see the LT era unis again. That Pat Patriot was another ugly old uniform. Only younger people want to see it, but if you grew up during a time when most uniforms had similar designs, you would never miss these!

Generally all animal and person logos look better than letter logos, most modern logos look better than the throwback logos and metallic-colored helmets beat matte finish helmets all the way.
