Oh my goodness, THANK YOU for confirming that I am not insane in having a bad experience with the Ace Beaute Flora palettes. I do think maybe I received a bad batch as well, but you are not the only one!!so hard pressed, as you said, and I was disappointed due to everyone gushing over these.

"it's not good for the price it's just good" YES!! 👏 I've been loving getting into indie eyeshadow but there is some amazing, comparable quality at the drugstore too that I think should get more love in the non-mainstream beauty space so many of these are ones I'm excited to try!! I'm trying so hard to hold out for Black Friday sales lol

100% agree with you about what a big difference packaging makes. As for Melt, many people familiar with the brand have said that they must have changed their matte formula, and not for the better. Great video!

I actually won the nomad Safari palette from the Instagram giveaway and OMG! It's def 100% my favorite palette from this year! Now I want ALL their palettes lol! Particularly the Hudson Valley! I did not guess your number 1 spot, but I did guess the nomad Safari would be top 3 😁 and I was surprised the Yucca palette wasn't top 5, but im very grateful for your review on it, makes me less sad I decided to pass on it lol

I LOVE a good palette ranking video! Enjoyed your count-down. The Fool Fantasy palette reminds me of the Nearly Natural palette by Glaminatrix. And YES the Cosmic Brushes palette is gorgeous - actually all 3 are (Muse, Serenity and Delicious Delights)

I can't say that I don't notice or appreciate packaging, but I can't say that it plays a part in whether or not I like a palette. For me, color story is what's most important, simply bc I'm even pickier that you are about what shades I use 😂 I have a cooler undertone, so many warm shades don't look nice on me.. mostly reds, yellows/yellow-greens, and I just don't care for blues 🤷🏻‍♀️

It is crazy how much marketing is really just about that top cover of the palette! I feel the same, and I typically think of palettes as the least organized, but most affordable, way to acquire eyeshadow. In a perfect world, I would own custom palettes with like 200 single shadows, organized as i choose. But it's just not practical, esp as I only have a posh collection because of doing boxycharm/ipsy. Strictly a drugstore budget, and more wet&wild than loreal prices, for me.

100% agree with you about Bh cosmetics! I have every one of the monthly birthstone palettes (it gave me an excuse to buy something from them every month, lol). They were amazing quality, beautiful color stories, etc...I was heart broken when I found out they were going backrupt. 😢 Unearthly cosmetics is now my favorite indie brand/ eyeshadow brand/makeup brand. Love the rankings so far this year! I cant wait to see what else we are going to get! ❤

The UC mystery box was the first mystery box I ever bought and I feel like I have been spoiled! I love the eye shadow and blush palette so much! I love ranking eyeshadow palettes videos 😍 I just picked up the Sydney Grace Blessed and Summer Days palettes. Their formula is phenomenal! I have the Nomad Safari palette on my wishlist. And Odens eye Stone and Rock. I’ve never tried them before but both of those brands sound so good 😊❤️💄

Favorite in terms of shades: Unearthly Warms My Blood. The shimmers require a little hand-holding though. Favorite in terms of quality: ND Glam. That one is fool proof. Favorite in terms of color: BB Sugar and Grunge

I think you should do a video on your top 10 brands and why. I have a feeling Nomad and Blend Bunny are on that list. Natasha Denona is still King to me, but EnsleyReign, Sidney Grace, and adept are on top 5 for sure.

That number 1 palette was unexpected! I can totally relate to you loving your mini Mod palette from Sigma, I have the mini Warm Neutrals from them and I love, love, LOVE it! ❤ I've been enjoying more neutral color stories lately and one palette that I just bought and loved is the Doll 10 - DOLLSQUAD 2.0. Basic yes but the formula is amazing! I am also loving my Too Faced Salted Caramel mini palette, I was surprised to see that the shade Toffee is so much alike a blush that I love from my TF Sugar Peach face and eye palette, the Peach Pop shade. 🍑 Why did they have to discontinue it? 😔 Thanks for the long video, I loved it! 😊

Total unpopular opinion, but I haven't loved the Natasha Denona formulas in any of her midi palettes. I own 6 of them and i finally stopped buying them because when i get them on my eyes, i just dont like them. I've been so tempted to buy the My Dream palette but I haven't been able to convince myself to buy another one! Thank you for such a fun ranking.....these are always my favorite types of videos!!

Love a good palette ranking 😊 I've been absolutely love the Cosmic brushes Muse and delicious delights palette fantastic quality 👌 new to me this year was the Unearthly reformulated Lore palette it's gorgeous and i did pick up the Heather Austin Resurgence palette and omg i love ❤️ Oden's eye Jewels and gem palette and the flora story palette another fantastic palettes. Absolutely love the ND Yucca palette. My first time trying Blend bunny i got sugar and grudge and them mattes are fantastic 👌 i haven't had any problems with my Ace beaute floral palettes so maybe you did get a bad batch 🤔 i was really stocked they were that low in your ranking

Wow, Rachel. 46 palettes. Impressive. Great choices. The Aurora palette is perfect for your eye color. I remember how much you liked the Denim Daze palette. I've not tried any of the Target Colourpop palettes. Did you know that today, Sydney Grace has 40% off of most palettes and other of her products? She's having a sale through till August 1st. You should definitely try the Blessed palette in the Light version. The Simply Posh Citrus Punch is the perfect color range for summer. Very pretty Yucca palette. Especially tge neutrals. I love the Sigma New Mod Mini Palette. I reach for it alot. You chose a great choice for 1st place. It's stunning!! I can't imagine how many hours you put into this video. You definitely deserve a vacation. 💜🩷💞

Hearing this I’m so glad that I did not buy the Ace Beaute palettes! The new formula is different but it still seems to have quality issues from shade to shade. I have tried several palettes now, and I just don’t like having to remember which shades to avoid. Factoring in the high shipping cost plus the insurance fee that they want you to pay on top of makes taking a chance on them even less appealing. And I have enough palettes now to be picky.

I did not like the ace beaute formula at all, and they said they have reformulated it, but just do not want to waste money again. Bh Cosmetics eyeshadows fade on me, so I again do not like the quality of Bh Cosmetics, sad because beautiful colorstories. I also do not buy makeup to be disappointed in, and wished I loved all formulas. The Natasha Denona Biba is actually one of my favorites and I have hit pan in a few shades, so her formulas are my favorite, not the shimmers, but the mattes are. Sidney Grace's mattes are competing with ND for forst place with mattes. After I have bought single multichromes from Terramoons, Shine by SD, and Cliondah, I really do not buy eyeshadow palettes for anything besides mattes. There are a few exceptions adept and EnsleyReign have awesome multichromes in eyeshadow palettes. The five best eyeshadow palettes new to my collection this year I have loving are Bellabeautebar Celestial Garden EnsleyReign Midwinter EnsleyReign Flower Moon Adept Heather Austin Pat Mcgrath Mothership II

Ty for saying that about bh...I just got done saying the same thing about their shadows fading. It literally is gone within an hour or 2 and I always do primer.
