That was definitely a nice touch, but I honestly thought the best part of Brave was the connection between Merida and her Eleanor and how they’re bond paved the way for fixing the problems of their old ways.

Yeah seriously, I thought that separating these two was really discouraging like I know it's supposed to teach you that sometimes you have to move on, but woody basically gave up one of his best qualities being loyal to his kid. and bo peep could have just joined woody and buzz instead but no she had to be the reason that woody and buzz split and they probably will never see each other again.

Understandable. The way I took it was that Bonnie got bored with Woody, so him staying with Bonnie wouldn’t really make much of a difference. With Andy, he had a special bond and could see that Andy cared about him and the gang a lot, and Andy would certainly miss them all and keep them in his heart. Woody had a bond with Bonnie, but like most kids, she just changed and started to like Forky more. Nothing wrong with that, but it meant that Woody’s duty to Bonnie was done. He cares a lot about Buzz, but it’s likely that if he stayed he would have just been stuck in the closet instead of helping toys get the chance to have a kid like he did. And that’s just life I guess. Sometimes, best friends do separate, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still connect and remember each other.

I get where you're coming from but I really disagree with your take on Buzz. In the first movie, he had legitimate reasons to believe Andy's room was a planet given the information he had (which is reinforced in the second film when we learn that every Buzz stubbornly abides by their protocol, something which the original Buzz remembers with some shame) and he's overall presented as very competent and aware of his surroundings (given that he thought he was a spaceman in hostile territory), and the Spanish thing wasn't his fault like you said (and even then he was still very competent). In all Toy Story films, he's presented as very opportunistic and able to come up with smart ways to get on top, so I honestly don't believe for a second that almost every meaningful decision he makes is triggered by his voice box (heck, compare every other film, where he instantly jumps in to help his friends when they're in danger, to this one, where he needs his voice box to tell him to rescue Woody). Glad you liked the film, but still a very VERY sore spot for me.

I agree. The reason TS4 was great is because it was the film that concluded woodys story. TS3 was the finale of his time with Andy, but TS4 was him doing what he needed to do which was move on. Obviously people hated the fact that he seperated from his friends to be with Bo. But to me it made perfect sense

Nicola finally someone who agrees with me,toy story 3 is a bit overrated,while 4 is underrated. Why do yall care about the gang being in the movie besides the fact that you like them,their arks were done,and had no purpose in the movie,your only excuse is that you like the gang,and thats not a good excuse,pretty lazy excuse. They did not really dumb down buzz,buzz acted different every movie,the first movie,he believed he was a space ranger,the 2nd,he believed he was an actual toy,the 3rd,I felt like they changed his character to be all tough and very mature,why arent people arguing about that?Like for example,when buzz got in trouble and was tied up,he said "unhand me you cowards"trying to be all tough,while in the other movies,he was not acting that tough.I think 4 goes back to regular buzz,except he might be a tiny bit more stupid,I think this is why he was kinda stupid:His new kid is bonnie,and kids can be stupid,so maybe he got stupid because of it,kids can get rid of some of your brain cells with some stupidity,so maybe it happened to buzz,OR,buzz has not had a serious conversation in a while with woody,and woody changed him in the other movies,so technically,it was woody's mistake/fault,not buzz. 3 is a bit overrated because of the daycare part for me,its better then average I guess,BUT NOT AMAZING,what is amazing is the last 20 minutes of toy story 3,with the furnace scene and the ending scene,which REALLY carried the film.I'm pretty sure the ending carried the film for most people also since most toy story 3 conversations talk about the ending or the furnace scene.I'm sure those people would agree that the daycare part was okay or just goos,not AMAZING,but good.
