Law's RA has an extra few seconds of him doing the bruce lee voice impression with the camera zoomed in to his face if it KOs an opponent. That's cinema to me.

Azu and Law's RAs bump up if you KO with them for sure. The little ad on Azu's and the extra Bruce Lee flair on Law's certainly make them way better.

I’m pretty sure law’s does the long pause face close up after the stomp when it ends the rounds cause I know I’ve seen his go on a bit longer.

The fun thing to note about Law's Rage Art is that if you KO the opponent with it, his pose at the end is actually longer and more pronounced.

I mostly agree with this list. The little ending cinematic you get when winning with the rage art sets some of these a little higher for me. Law, for example does do the exaggerated Bruce Lee thing. It could be something to include if you revisit the Rage Arts when more characters release. I feel like there are little things that just ruin some of the rage arts. King, and Leo just have a weird last impact where nothing really happens. There should be something hitting at these moments. If Paul hit the pose after the punch, his RA would be a solid tier or 2 higher. For Jin, if they added the kick at the end from story mode, he's at least jumping past Kazuya on the list.

Great video! I think I agree with 95% of it, I'd just move Panda to the bottom end of "Pretty Good" and Jin Kazama to the top end of "Pretty Good." Somehow I'm not surprised that extra anime flair bumped a hunch of them up. My favorite (which should be obvious) is straight out of Demon Slayer.

Steve’s rage art reminds me of Dudley’s rolling thunder with the rolling with the punches so it was an insta top tier for me. Its so much better than the one he had in T7

Aside from the flashy visuals and cinematic improvements in their rage art moves, there’s much more build-up and slow motion when they’re about to land their final blow. Tekken 7’s supers are straightforward yet quick enough to finish for both players to continue the match and it only packs from a few hits. I’m glad they improved and put much more time for their cinematic Rage Arts in Tekken 8.

King’s Rage Art Feels Anti-Climactic. The Impact Is Supposed To Be Felt When They Stop Moving, But They Paused The Landing For The Explosions In The Back. The Explosions Should’ve Been Timed With The Landing So You Get The Most Feeling Of “Goddamn, I Know That Hurts”

Jin and Drag being in their respective tiers is crimes against humanity. Jin is literally just an electric into power crush with some bop in it, it gets carried by his ending animation. Drag, Hwo, and Brian are what the standard should have been. Drag has a domain expansion, but aside from that it’s nothing crazy, and Hwo and Brain have added flairs to them but again nothing crazy. A perfect standard for the rest. Also, half the rosters rage art have extra things added to them at the end, and also have character specific interactions with them that should have been taken into account, because Kaz simply *not* kicking Jun in his round ending RA adds extra points.

Overall i feel like the rage arts in this game just feels so uninspired, I love Jin to death but T8 rage art is so LAME. He has legit devil powers and what does he do? He punches once and drags them across the arena with it.. His heat smash/burst is way more of a rage art than the actual rage art. I lowkey wish they would just do a powered up version of the T7 one and just make him a machine gun again but with some devil powers

I like Alisa's RA but T7 did it better, same can be said for King tbh. Jin's was nice but Story Mode RA was a lot better. I wish we had that or an alternate outfit that allows us to use it. I know you hate Lars but I'm honestly surprised that you ranked him fairly.

I think the King's rage art is less impactful then a lot of his regular throws so in comparison it's weak as a cinematic move

i dont like Dragunovs rage art cause that big double hand swing has no impact sound, like the shattering ice just makes it sound weak asf. also its literally the same as the one he had in Tekken 7 but even that one had an actual hard hitting sound effect

Rage arts change depending on meeting certain requirements in the match. Asukas, Laws, Juns, Kazuyas, etc. Laws is #1 btw, any other opinion is wrong. Scientists have proven this. He has the best design and best rage art. I'm above God rank so that somehow makes my opinion more valid than any of yours.
