Usas 12 is one of the better shotguns on mw3 also the trench gun on WAW is a consistent one hit as long as you don’t ADS( I know it doesn’t make sense but it’s an old game) plus why would you want to ads with a shotgun anyway unless it’s slug

@@johnrodriguez1797 No, it was full auto. You can hold the trigger and it keeps shooting. It's just a really slow fire rate one can shoot it like a semi auto and can't tell much a difference between that and auto. I used to use it religiously, I'd use it like a semi auto for single targets but hold the trigger on groups as it would just cut through them anyways. But one other thing... You could actually sprint longer with the USAS 12 than any other shotgun in the game. Even without Extreme Conditioning. Which funnily enough Extreme Conditioning actually nerfed it on the USAS-12 giving it no advantage with the perk but having one without.

The USAS 12 was just mind breaking, no shotgun had such a one shot capability in range, put on Dmg or Range and this thing can hold his stand against the Striker with ease with a good aim.

They nerfed the range early on. But left it alone after that and with the barrel it was an animal. Still tho, most guns in that game were more than viable and anyone could compete with you if they knew how. Shotguns, especially pump shotguns, need to be fast, hit hard, and have fair but not ridiculous range. Anything less and they just become boring and non-competitive. I really love pump shotgun play style so I’m a bit partial.

Pre patch akimbo 1887's in MW2 was the best shotgun setup in the history of the series. Probably the best gun altogether.

Same. Played bo2 for years. Still play it. I still have friends i met 6 years ago back when i joined with a clan. We played on a daily. I made some of my best memories on bo2 with that shotgun. Wish i could go back sometimes

1:17 To be fair, if you put a grip on the WAW Double Barrel Shotgun, it improved the range significantly. Paired with Sleight of Hand, it was actually really good.

Personally i actually really lived using the blunderbuss in ww2, especially with the incendiary pellets, i have some great memories using it, and i also really likes the rifle bullet attachment on the luftwaffe in ww2

#38 i’m not sure how it performs now, but the 725 with slugs was probably the best shotgun ever next to the M30. Altho, I’m not sure if they Nerfed the slugs.

I think AA-12 and USAS-12 were amazing shotguns in MW3, you could reck people with ease. I remember getting several moabs with both of them, all you needed to do was to outsmart the enemies.

COD WW2 m30 Luftwaffe was insane with the right perks and class. My setup for it was Class: Commando Frag grenade Hustle and forage Weapons: M30 Luftwaffe (obviously) 1911 Attachments: Luftwaffe: steady aim, advanced rifling, incendiary rounds for faster reload. 1911: quickdraw I recommend anyone who reads this comment to use this… if anyone actually still plays this game.

Having just max-leveled the Model 680, I'll just say this: Just put Dragon's Breath rounds in it. Yes, I know they're better on the R9-0, but they're still powerful and make the 680 a decent if not top-tier shotgun.

When I saw the title I immediately said ksg from bo2 and striker from mw3. Cool to see them sitting at #9 and #2. Striker with damage and slight of hand was INSANE.

Last night my brother and I was playing MW2019, and I was running the 725 with the competition barrel and chokes. Pairing it up with the tempest guard and "speed stock" Add slight of hand to the mix, and I was cleaning house and getting called for hacks. Mind you I am playing this on a ps4, so I cant cheat on the console, I was clapping cheeks so hard I was kind of scaring myself

The trench shotgun flames I believe it was BO1 that had the flame rounds, one mission with mason and woods fighting Vietnam soldiers, and when you played zombies, once you upgraded the Olympia it shot flame rounds, multiplayer I don’t know about ^^”, but this is what I remember :3

My favorite shotguns were The KSG 12 from MW3 The KSG and Remington 870 MCS from Black Ops 2 The Olympia from Black Ops The Striker from MW2, MW2R and MW3 The Model 680 and hunting shotgun from MW 2019 The UTS from Cod Ghosts The Bulldog from Advanced Warfare And the AA12 from MW 2019.

Ex competitive COD AW player here. Would say the bulldog should definitely be higher. The base weapon maybe is fairly placed but there were variants of that weapon that were absolutely cracked man. Miss that game so much

The double-barreled shotgun is great in WaW. If you pair it with satchel charges on Outskirts you can flank tanks, blow them up, then duck into a building and blast anyone who comes after you. This is still my favourite strategy to use on WaW.

26:55 in bo1 zombies, if you PAP the Olympia it got incendiary rounds and in the campaign, you use a spas-12 with incendiary rounds.

my favorite shotguns have great range, pump action and great hip fire. A solid shotgun is one you can casually walk around with pull the trigger once, delete someone, pump, and just casually keep walking

Use Escalation with any shotgun. As long as you keep killing accurately you hardly need to reload. Resistance or commando is the best for shotguns

Even on highrise i once used the spas 12 against a guy on the roof top glitch and it still got a hit marker

The 680 being so far below the WW2 toggle action is just…bruh. I got Gold with all shotguns in both games, but the toggle action is by far the worst IMO

my fav shotgun is the pre patch M2187 thunderstruck. yup, the 3 burst shotty lmao i dropped a 40+ gun streak with that thing before it got nerfed to the ground

I had the same top two but I had akimbo models at 3 but I was thinking pre-nerf. Even after nerf I think it’s still maybe 10-13th

Honestly the BO3 Argus was my favorite shotgun ever. Most games I’m not good with slug-like shotguns but I was always hitting my shots with that thing. Got so many killing sprees with it. Don’t know what it was but overall I was extremely good at BO3 compared to other cod’s

The mog 12 from BO4 is actually very good due to the Barrel Choke attachment. This fixes the biggest problem: unreliable damage and poor range (for a shotgun). In my experience I'm better off using the faster reload and a perk for 3 class points than for an operator mod which is very situational (it wasn't as broken as WW2)
