S tier: Ancient city, Bastion remnant, End city, Ocean ruins A tier: Pillager outposts, Ruined portal, Shipwreck, Stronghold B tier: Igloo, Mineshaft, Ocean monument, Village(s), Woodland mansion C tier: Dessert temple, Jungle temple, Nether fortress *Cringe* tier: Dungeon, Witch hut I'm surprised you regard end cities so highly, personally I'd put them in A tier or B tier, they have the best loot and it's a way to earn shulkers but meh I don't like purpur lol Also this video makes me realize how impossible minecraft is without tutorials, why can't there be a guide book in the game with some minecraft knowledge, or chapters of the book where they need to be like in the igloo

i agree that purpur isn't a particularly useful block, but i do enjoy the color scheme of the end cities a lot. they also have, by far, the most unique structure generation, which imo leads to a really unique experience when raiding them :) also, you're totally right, this game is really hard without any outside info! it's kinda nuts. there's a great video by RetroGamingNow that explores this idea: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a65mfsSjkri8kWw.html&ab_channel=RetroGamingNow

In my opinion dungeons should be rooms in Strongholds exclusively. They just fit better that way. They are just kinda out there otherwise. Like why would there be a dungeon here attached to no other major structures. Even if they made more cave structures coupled dungeons with them. If they ever came out with a dwarven type village where the had refuges in deep open cave areas that would make Minecraft nearly perfect. The end is still weird but the caves are basically a world of their own and would love to see more active life down there besides monsters and bats. If we are gonna have mineshafts why not have some villager version of piglins that run around their little cave village with wood swords or something?

The wood in the ancient citys is because the illagers were there after something happened to the people in this city.

fun fact: Overworld fossils are considered a 'structure-like feature' instead of a structure, putting them in the same category as geodes, ice spikes, and desert wells. in the nether, fossils are only considered a proper structure in Java - they're also classified as a 'feature' in bedrock :)

I wish we had more structures but they have to be balanced like the onley thing to find in caves is mine shafts I wish the was more underground

absolutely! i would love to see more underground biomes with biome-specific structures. as cool as it is that we have the deep dark & ancient cities, i would like to see more, especially if it's smaller and more common

Jungle temple and desert temples are goated what you mean Edit: and you forgit about the secret in the jungle temples Another edit: the nether fortress is one if the best bro and the reason i keep doing these edits are because i haven't finsihed the video

This video should really be called ranking the structures based on aesthetics because you never actually ranked any of them based on loot or mobs

it's true that i didn't, since my channel is focused on minecraft building, i generally stick to aesthetic viewpoints when ranking structures, blocks, etc. i usually try to make that clear in the beginning of my videos - for this video in particular, i mentioned that we'll be looking at the best and worst structures 'aesthetically speaking' - but i understand that it can still be misleading. i don't think i will be adding the explanation to the video title, since that would make them very long, but going forward, i'll definitely be making this distinction more clear in the videos themselves!

i completely agree that the desert well is one of the most pointless generations, but believe it or not it's not a structure! i was surprised to see it listed as a "non-structure generation" on the minecraft wiki
