For me it’s gotta be, 15: Atlantica 14: Space Paranoids 13: Agrabah 12: Halloween Town 11: Disney Castle 10: Pride Lands 9: Port Royal 8: Land Of Dragons 7: Olympus 6: Beast Castle 5: Hollow Bastion 4: Timeless River 3: The 100 Acre Wood (controversial probably) 2: Twilight Town 1: The World That Never Was

Everyone has a different ranking for worlds in KH2, and it was fun to hear yours! That said, I've got the opposite opinion for several of the Disney worlds. I tend to prefer worlds that haven't been used in the series unless it's really changed up, like Olympus. Space Paranoids is tied with Timeless River for best Disney world. Olympus, Beast's Castle, Port Royal, and Pride Lands are the real interesting ones for me afterwards, with Land of Dragons and 100 Acre Woods being more mid-tier. At the bottom are Halloween Town, Agrabah and Disney Castle which are okay but lacking. And then of course Atlantica.

I'm not sure we can call Space Paranoids filler. It's arguably the only Disney world in KH2 that isn't filler.

Finally. FINALLY. After sooooo many years. Finally someone on KZfaq has a decent world ranking opinion. I agree with almost all your decisions. The only one I have to change for me is Twilight town. It hits so close to my heart that there is no way I can’t put it in the #1 spot for myself.

"All of the boss battles in TWTNW were fun, except for Luxord" sounds like someone squandered their time on the real, man cheats at his own fight by just not running out of time

15) Atlantica (completely agree) 14) Disney Castle (only thing keeping it from last place is that since kh1 I wanted to explore the castle) 13) Agrabah (two horrible bosses bring down whats otherwise an ok level)12) 100 Acre Wood (Big improvement from previous games) 11) Port Royal (love the world but the other worlds are better)10) Space Paranoids (Nice artstyle) 09) Olympus Colliseum (Another huge improvement) 08) Pride Lands (Basically kh2s version of Atlantica from kh1) 07) Timeless River (Brilliant level wish it had a 2nd visit though) 06) Halloween Town (love the Christmas town addition not as big fan of the bosses as kh1) 05) Twilight Town (Awesome world) 04) Land of Dragons (Love this level, reminds me of Deep Jungel 03) Beasts Castle (Xaldin fight was super epic)02) World That never Was (Beautiful World would be 1st if I was ranking og KH2) 01) Radiant Garden (final mix turned an impressive world to the closest thing to a perfect kingdom hearts world)

I feel like Space Paranoids as a whole is like a filler arc in the game. The "important" bits from it come from inside the computer room, not so much from inside the Space Paranoids itself. I think we could have gained all the important info gathered here from a short cutscene as opposed to going through a whole world. I'm glad we have the world though; more KH2 is more KH2. It's really not a huge issue I have with the game. But those are just my thoughts on the world itself

Radiant Garden obviously deserves the top spot for sheer content alone, so I vehemently agree with your top two, but outside of that... 1. Radiant Garden 2. WTNW 3. Space Paranoids 4. Halloween Town 5. Beast's Castle 6. Timeless River 7. Twilight Town 8. Olympus 9. Pride Lands 10. Land of Dragons 11. Agrabah 12. 100 Acre Wood 13. Port Royal 14. Disney Castle 15. Atlantica Space Paranoids might be biased for me because I love Tron (the movie and the character) but I always found it one of the best friendships Sora establishes with a Disney character, alongside a strong Limit and a memorable boss. Twilight Town mainly suffers on the gameplay end with two irritating Mushrooms and a dull but necessary Final Form grinding loop. Olympus also suffers since the cups vary so greatly in quality.

When the game first came out, I really liked the quick-time stuff, I didn't know people were against it. They added flavor to the combat which I felt they stepped up from the first game. My only critique of KH2, something I only really began noticing on my second play through however many years ago, was that I felt the world designs were a bit boring. They started out strong with Twilight town but then no other world even compared after. The Mulan world was so bland, so boring. Encapsulated by the march to the capital when you could hear cheering from an invisible crown in an empty lot. I thought that was not a good way for that world to end. The only thing that saved most of the bland worlds for me was the combat. I spent tons of time just carving heartless up in Mulan world for no reason other than to grind. And like you mentioned, some worlds even took away your ability. I endured the Pride Lands because I love Lion King, but objectively, I can see why people don't like it. Bad idea on their part. Twilight town was the best for me. The plot, the mechanics, everything was just really, really good. The mystery forest with the mansion over yonder, the tournament, the back alley ways and side chore quests...the start was very strong.

I found it hilarious how Maleficent was seriously downgraded as a villain in KH 2. In KH 1, she was this sinister villain who kidnapped the princesses of heart to open the final door. An evil plan. In KH 2, she allied herself with a resurrected bag of worms and wanted to kidnap Santa Clause and take over Christmas town. xD

I'd put Agrabah a bit lower. I don't like the vibe of the world. The carpet ride is annoying, the treasure chamber area feels weird, only the city of Agrabah itself is an upgrade. I'd also switch Twilight Town and Radiant Garden's place.

I think for me, my three favorite worlds were Land of Dragons, the Pridelands, and either the World that Never Was or the Timeless River. I think those ones had the best gameplay!

I did! I'll go more into why I skipped it in a future ranking video, but essentially, every world is practically the same. The room cards copy and paste the landscape, but just with a different skin depending on what world you go to. And as far as the story goes in each world, for the most part, each world just retells the story of that world from KH1. The only world's in CoM that I'd consider more unique than the others are Twilight Town and Castle Oblivion. Both of which have more in depth world designs in future games like KH2 & 3, and Re: Coded

Oh man, ranking every Final Fantasy character sounds like it would be a 10hr long video, haha. I already made a ranking of every Kingdom Hearts game, and I do plan on ranking all the characters. I haven't played any of the Yakuza games (but I plan to), and I hacent beat any Persona games (but I plan to. I think it's safe to say that these videos will eventually come out!
