I remember playing Arcaea at school one time and the friends that saw me playing thought of the statement "You must be good at fingering" 💀💀💀 rizz potential +0.01

I once went into a restaurant, ordered a milkshake, sat down on a table, pulled out my tablet, then placed it on the table and started playing some Future 10s in Arcaea. I just wanted to have a peaceful gaming session with my milkshake. Next thing you know I was surrounded by everyone in the restaurant who were watching me play and saying how good I was (even though I missed many notes and I got bad accuracy).

in all seriousness, many project sekai players (like myself) do like a handful of characters (i myself loves airi momoi) but i do find other project sekai players cool and fun to be with and talk with. and i like reacting to the people that say "omg thats so fast" to me playing the easiest expert chart 💀 also the gacha system is easy to understand once you really get into the game the rest of the community though, yeah uh good luck dealing with them 😁

As a person who plays proseka only for rhythm game aspect (and also a proseka charter appeared in 10:51 and 11:17), the only thing I can agree with is “anything is better than flicks” you can’t deny that some official charts there feels unique though

As a 14k Australian maimai player, what you have said about maimai true. I’ve met several of my friends from maimai, and it’s highly addicting. But that dopamine when you get that S or higher score on a hard map is too much for me to quit. And also, chunithm. I thought it would get A tier or B tier at least, as it also would gather quite a bit of attention from the public when playing like level 15 or 14+ maps. As for why Chunithm may look similar to Project Sekai is because they were developed by the same company, SEGA, so my friends and I would call project sekai as ‘mobile chunithm’. I’m surprised that Ongeki wasn’t included as the other big arcade rhythm games from SEGA (Chuni and Maimai) were, but that’s fine. And that’s my review.

In conclusion, use your legs to play rhyme games is way cooler than use your hands

Always feel great to see Geometey Dash has higher tier than FNF

Arcaea is indeed handheld player friendly, proven by bengaleehs The 4 hold sections aren't that hard Then there's exschwasion crosshands

such a great idea, but not enough rhythm games covered. Should do a part 2 with more in depth with other rhythm games But respect to maimai, the prince of the Sydney arcade scene, the chad social game, the one that makes all at peace.

I‘m a religious Pump It Up player, and all I can say is, I either scare people away or I attract a huge crowd behind me. And in all seriousness, since I started playing Pump 1,5 years ago and getting into other rhythm games, I got to meet and know sooo many people and make new connections and friends:D For me, who‘s a bit introverted, it has become a bit overwhelming even😅

As someone who has spent over $3000+ on maimai, yea it’s a fun game, you get to socialise, eat, and feel the satisfaction of improving but get ready to spend a ton 😂 but hey at least give it a try first and then decide if you’re willing to sacrifice because you bet I will, never regretted getting into maimai

IIDX"s old cabs have fleeting rizz. Most of the ones you find are all busted up and in varying disrepair from being 25 years old. Burned out spotlights, dead ticker lights, neons not lighting. However, there is hope for IIDX"s rizz game. The lightning model cabs bring it at least into 2019 and look like a giant gaming PC with RGB fucking everywhere. Standing near them you can feel the bass in your feet due to the huge platform that vibrates to the bass (old cab had it but much weaker in my experience). Also like a gaming PC it's got 2 monitors and runs at 120 hz. I think lightning model deserves a rizz rank up.

I like how you legit *guaranteed* getting laid in the Taiko section, and then gave it an A, lol. God tier list, tho. Also, the thing about Taiko’s reading is that it’s more about memorizing specific recurring patterns of the game (e.g. DDK, KKD, DDKKD, etc..). Same can be said with how most other RGs have patterns, too, except Taiko is more reactive than proactive. Kinda like playing piano with sheets, except the sheets magically show more notes as you play (unless you can play without it like the JP gigachads, lol).

Beat Saber is definitely pretty good for rizzing at an arcade with the big screen however the controllers are so heavy due to weighted HTC vive controllers. But this tier list was pretty epic

lmao 5:40 that's me on the rightmost cab, this was during one of our local tournaments which I eventually got bodied later down the line (heh). 10/10 can vouch that maimai connects you to a lot of new people, but opposite gender rizz is still up to you impressing them off arcade. I actually had a fling with a girl in school because of Arcaea some time ago and this was before the online multiplayer was added. Unfortunately I have not found another potential partner yet because the entirety of Singapore is overrun with maimai and Project Sekai players please someone help me (side note: back when WACCA had online service, the game wasn't hard because of the inputs, but because of how stamina intensive it was, especially when there were patterns involving jumping across the entire input ring. My arms still ache even thinking of the mobius inverno chart)

it's actually a good thing that this video is posted in 2023. were it posted way earlier, you'd be surprised by how weird taiko's original songs are, especially the 2000 series songs namco just recently trying to appeal for wider audience by picking up mainstream songs and using english language on their interface. back then? hard pass, good luck learning japanese to navigate through the game, let alone trying to choose a song you might be familiar with it's definitely A tier today, but if it were 2015 or earlier, I'd rate it on D tier, especially if it's still using the old cab which looks like a relic from the 90s
