Bald Randy (2009) will always be my favourite. The segment where he had Triple H handcuffed in the corner, DDT'ed Steph and proceeded to kiss her. One of the most iconic segments ever

Nothing tops 2008-2010 Orton. That is the scariest and sickest version of Randy I ever seen in my life. He looked like he was in the best shape of his life as well. That slow walk to the ring and he had a bald head. His sleeve tattoos were just done too I believe. He was just scary man. Voices in My Head fitted him perfectly at that time because the way he played his character, you knew he was thinking like a psychopath. Plus the in ring storylines with Triple H and John Cena was Chef's Kiss. Perfect Heel Character. Not to mention that vicious punt kick.

Randy Orton of 2009 is my favorite version of him. Especially his feud with the McMahons. I also liked his I Quit Match with John Cena at Breaking Point 2009. It had a moment where Orton handcuffed Cena to the ring post and smacked him with Kendo sticks. Man that was awesome

Orton’s rebellion against the Authority was one of my favorite of his face runs. His promos were on another level, and he had such a growl in his voice that was damn near perfect. Plus, i thought it was the best he physically looked. Guy looked like a complete jacked savage.

@Ritiman Debbarma it's hard to pick between Edge and Orton because they were both at one point the best heel in the company. Not only that, but they tagged together and their runs were either really close to each other or overlapping. I wouldn't discount Jericho either as he's won all 6 world titles in wwe as a heel.

I don't think there'll ever be a greater heel than this man was in 2008-9. He was just other worldly. His facial expressions, his movements, his aura...everything about him was just epic. Why wwe doesn't give Randy more glory is beyond me. He is truly one of the Greatest to ever do it.

Knew it. I started watching WWE in 2009 I believe, and I remember Randy having a very strong character that I wished to see after 2010. He was even one of my favorites to play in Svr 2011 on ps2. Good times, hope that randy could get one last huge push before retiring.

Legend killer Randy Orton (2004-2008) was the best because his old theme song burn in my light was so catchy and he had great matches with HBK, Mick Foley, Undertaker, Triple H and John Cena during the Ruthless Aggression era.

During his first viper or legacy run Randy looked a little bit skinny than his other run but was the most dangerous I always wondered what happened to him at that time same with Kurt angle he also looked skinny in his final WWE run and mostly in TNA

Don't know if there was anything specific to identify; there might have been. But I always thought it was odd that there are a few people on every Orton video supposedly raving about Orton's physique or even identifying him as a "body guy." He was never that so to speak; body guy doesn't mean good looking. He stepped out there with almost every physique imaginable over the years, oscillating among different amounts of fat and muscle. Many wrestlers have done that to some extent of course; when you see someone like that as a fitness model or influencer or whatever, it's a very confident sign that they're on PEDs. For wrestlers of course there was little doubt in the first place, even for the scrawnier guys.

My favorite of Randy was RKBro. It allowed Randy to come across as a man with a sense of humor and actual sensitivity. He & Riddle played perfectly as a team, with a little humor thrown in. It was nice seeing Randy interacting with the audience and riling them up to cheer on Riddle.

I wish we were still naive enough to think the "grams in an ounce" thing was a reference to weed. I never thought that, and few do now I'd imagine. Regardless of their out-of-ring lives however, those two were hilarious and it was great for both characters and for the product. I am a sucker for those well executed goofy vaudeville segments (with great wrestlers of course) like Booker T and Goldust!

great ranking but i will make one small correction, i wouldn't call H's win against randy at royal rumble 2005 "clean" per se because you have to remember they were running an angle where randy slipped up and gave himself a concussion. i thought the booking in that match was pretty incredible really because he still got a lot of offense in despite it being sold as him not even knowing where he was.

Unpopular opinion: I've always preferred the "face" versions of Randy Orton. Particularly the Apex Predator, the one from 2010 to 2013. His rivalry with Christian in 2011 was spectacular

'09 Legacy version, TOP TIER Heel, '11-13 TOP TIER Face (despite Christian messed up WHC run). 💯 If Randy is retiring this year, he will be the 1st to be inducted down the line and WHEN Orton is officially done, I think the RAW After whatever Mania should be Orton getting a taste of his own medicine by going out the way he was known for, a fresh heel and new Legend Killer taking out the new legend by punting Randy in the skull. 😈 His retirement will be poetic and respected. Either way, thank you Randy Orton for a legendary career. 💯

Im glad eveyone here has 2009 Orton as tops. RKO was Freddy Krueger like with Legacy. He was damn near at his athletic peak and it seemed like they kept pushing the envelope with his character. He made you believe he was evil in that bit.

I say Legend Killer was the best Orton version because if it wasn't for him being LK, it wouldn't be no Randy Orton. Orton was charismatic and had an absolute swagger with excellent mic skills. Orton became an marquee top star and main eventer as Legend Killer. LK launched Orton into superstardom

When Randy Orton broke his collarbone at One Night Stand's PPV I was feeling extremely devastated, upset, saddened and was hurting badly inside...I was upset, bummed out, crying 😢😢😢😢😢 I sent Randy Orton artwork I drew, Get Well cards, wrote him. I felt so badly about it...I only wanted to help him get well again, recover, heal up.

2009 Bald Orton hands down. You could argue that run as being one of the top 3 heel runs ever. His physique added to his viper like psychopath character, being slim and lean, he literally looked like a snake with the bald and hairless body lol and greased up baby lotion look. Not to mention the title looked good on him. He had that bad boy snake like attitude that respected nobody

Pretty easy. For me it’s Legend Killer Randy when he was with Evolution and then Skinhead Randy with Legacy the Viper when he was hearing voices in his head and punting people in the head. Those are the best versions of Randy imo

Best version of Orton is 07-2010. One of the best heels of all-time. Having the punt kick as his finisher and willing to do it to anyone including his own boss made him an even better heel.
