Thanks for this. I purchased an EX240 based on your recommendation. I actually got it as a second monitor as I didn't want my main monitor (Dell G3223Q) to be slowed down when using two. The picture looked so good when I hooked it up I could see that my main monitor's settings were off. Quick adjustment of the contrast settings and I have two good looking monitors now. Cheers.

KZfaq would be a much better platform if more content creators emulated your no-nonsense approach to presenting information. Gotta say that the 2510S getting shoved into D tier was painful since I got the original EX2510 with an AU Optronics panel primarily informed by yours and HUB's videos, but from memory the panel on the 2510S is supposed to be a bit of a downgrade. Even if the original were to be poor value in today's market though, I'm happy overall since it means manufacturers are competing more aggressively! Very recently got the Koorui for a family member, they love it.

Great content. Your videos are clean and direct to the point. I generally watch video by skipping in between but while watching this one I didn't realise when did the video get over and I didn't press a key in between. Nice one keep it up.

So, just to get this cleared out, it's always EX240 and never EX240N... Because they're not the same and have very different results, right?

I was able to find the EX2510S for the same price as the EX240, so I bought the 2510S one, since the only negative that it had was that it was about 80 dollars more expensive then the EX240.

Thanks for doing these videos. They've become very important for my product choices. Not sure if I agree with the ranking here though. I would have ranked the two monitors with the good contrast ratio on top (MSI G2412 and the AOC 24GSP(U)). I think the contrast ratio is very important, and often hopelessly neglected. Nothing worse than the lack of detail, and brightness with dark screen content.

Lg24gn600 is around $100 in my country. Should I buy this, or are there any alternatives? Koorui priced it the same, Mobius EX240 is $40 more, and the MSI in the tierlist is $20 more.

Hey! Quick question: considering it didn't appear in this video, what's your opinion on the AOC 25G3ZM/BK? Im tempted to buy it but is there anything that I'm missing?

I personally went with aoc 24G2SPAE (fixed stand) as I don't need height adjustments fits perfectly well on my desk for my eyes, and I must say jump from 60hz to 165hz is insane. I used dell ultrasharp 2419h before, only thing i must are the usb ports on the monitor =/ but 165hz is insane

the BenQ ex240 is 6bit+frc while ex2510s is 8bit+frc and they're also priced really close in my country which is why I went with ex2510s

where would the asus tuf vg249q be on this list, because in my region it is in a similar price range as the other models

Gigabyte G24F-2 has better display colors but Mobiuz ex240 has 50nits more and an extra cheap audio. Both have adjustable stand, response time 1ms and a nice design for most tastes. For me the 300 nits are more than enough but better colors are never enough, so i would say GB G24F 2 should be S tier "if" both cost the same. I am curious how the prices are on Black Friday.

msi g241 owner here, very good monitor bought one year back after viewing your review of this monitor 🙂

I had a choice between ex240 which was around 205USD, gf24f2 which was priced at like 169USD and the g2412 which was 108USD. I got the msi g2412 at 108USD as it seemed the best value for money to me and so far my experience with this monitor has been quite good. I calibrated the colors and it looks as good as any other panel under 250bucks, the contrast ratio is amazing and after calibration you can hit low ∆E values as well. I'm currently using it with the overclock turned on at 169.9Hz and its working fine without any significant ghosting. I play cs2 and apex legends the response time is amazing and it works well with nvidia gsync even though it's not in the nvidias list of gsync certified monitors(maybe cus it's new) I faced no issues. The build quality is good, I travel to and fro with it from my college dorm.

Monitors in my country are ridiculously expensive. We have taxes on monitors sadly . In my country msi 2412 is more expensive than aoc 24g2sp. Benq mobiuz ex240 is not available yet. But most likely the ex240 is going to be the same or a little bit more expensive than aoc24g2sp.

So I want a 2nd 144hz monitor for gaming. Fast response times are important to me and that it doesn't have much ghosting my budget is around 300/400eu what would be good for my range?
