Calling oathkeeper a pre-evolution of the ultima blade is not giving it any justice lol 😂 . Oblivion and Oathkeeper go hand in hand. If one is S-tier than the other is as well, both keyblades symbolizes the bond between Riku and Kairi.

He did not just put oblivion in S-tier but not Oathkeeper? If we were going off design that would be S-tier and if we're going off of stats and usefulness it would still be S since this thing is easily a keyblade that can be used throughout the rest of the game without too much difficulty

@@kimeroez8946 Because Magic in KH1 is extremely unbalanced. So a keyblade that raises magic is usually better. Plus Oathkeeper looks so much cooler than rumbling rose.

@@darklight8557rose is way better than anything other than ultima weapon. "difficult to deflect" keyblade attribute is worth more than mp -- and by the time you unlock it you should have 10+ mp anyways.

You missed the point of the ultima the game is already quite long and then going outta your way to grab the ultima makes you play for 20 more hours just grinding for something you dont need you can finish the game just fine with the other keyblades

@@IDKWhoIam-fy6eg many people grind to final bosses can be light work, though. If it wasn't for the grind, getting the ultimate weapon for a final boss is arguably the most normal thing any video game player would do. It's a concept as basic as collecting all 7 chaos emeralds in Sonic 2.

I legit thought that Riku turned into the Kingdom Key when I first played the game. He vanishes at the same moment you get the Keyblade, and he shares an eerily similar color scheme to it.

...... Okay, for that whole One-Winged Angel quip.... Yeah, you can go to hell. To me, Sephiroth was one of the hardest fights, and that keyblade made me feel like a winner.... I beat Xemnas, the Agrabah secret boss and the Big Ben secret boss, but none of them compared to the over 130 times I died to this guy.... This keyblade deserves to be S tier, not because of its design alone, but the gravity of obtaining it paired with the fact it can sometimes oneshot an enemy, fuck that, it deserves SSS+ tier... in my own personal experience: Yeah, you can go to hell.

Olympia is literally the GOAT in kh1. It hits hard and feels great to use when you get it in the game. Also it is the best keyblade that can counterattack that you can use at hollow bastion.

That stone back scratcher came in handy when deflecting hits. The shorter keyblades were quicker to land hits when blocking enemy hits. Love oblivion and pumpkinhead but man…those shorter ones had something.

Kingdom key - B tier, iconic Jungle King - D Three Wishes - C Crabclaw- C Pumpkinhead - A+ Fairy Harp - D Useless but thematic Wishing Star - F Spellbinder - C great in Atlantica Metal Chocobo - F Olympia - B almost mandatory v riku Lionheart - A+ solid and nice particles Lady Luck - A Divine Rose - A Oathkeeper - S Oblivion - S Diamond Dust - B+ Love it but no str One-Wing - B Ultima - S Not sure if there’s any hot takes but it beats that tier list for sure. (Edit) Bumped Lionheart a little bit.

Only hot take I see here is ranking Oblivion above Lady Luck despite LL outranking Oblivion in str and mp post final mix. Besides that, imo calling the Fairy Harp useless then ranking the Wishing Star at F when it can guarantee crits for you is pretty hot, but that's just me.

Love how people say fairy harp has too little range then they use divine rose, which has the exact same reach as fairy harp (although too be fair, divine rose is actually good, just that maybe the range wasn't fairy harp's main issue)

Olympia decimates Riku if you aren't good at the game, you can just brute force your way through the fight with it. Also obligatory the Pumpkin Head has a pumpkin on the keychain, which is what changes the appearance of his keyblade, ergo, it has a pumpkin.

As someone who beat Kurt Zisa, Phantom, Sephiroth, Ice Titan, and most of the Hades Cup solely relying on Lionheart, I will have you know that you will be hearing from my lawyers soon I do agree that Divine Rose rocks though, probably due to the fact that I beat Unknown with it
