I would like to think Harper earned some much deserved respect from fans this past season. He pushed himself to come back early to the Phillies, even though everyone could see he wasn't completely healthy yet. But even a wounded Harper was able to put the team on his back for stretches. And, towards the end of the year when he got healthy, my god did he go on a tear.

I don’t think so. I think he would want to separate himself from that hype & prove to the world he’s the man. Can’t do that in LA, can only be done in NY. The only team in NY that has the cache to offer a world wide fan base is the Yankees. I live in southern Utah, because of the YES network I only missed a handful of games last. The Yanks have more exposure than any other team going. Looking forward to the Yankee / Dodger WS we saw (some of us anyway) back in the 70’s. We’re gonna get him!!
