I just started reading Ranma 1/2 a week ago, and blazed through the whole thing. Now I'm playing this song and feeling nostalgia that I'm not old enough to be able to.

Lambada Ranma will always be my favorite!!!

I always loved the openings and the endings of Ranma 1/2. Present still gives me shivers, it is so emotional to me.

I’m currently rewatching that anime on Hulu. I haven’t seen that anime since high school. It was pretty funny. A lot of crazy stuff has happened, being cursed to be whatever spring you fall in for the rest of your life, Happosi always stealing women’s underwear and even having his disciples and other people take the fall for his misdeeds. I’m telling ya there’s no justice with him around. Ryoga liked being a pig to be near Akane and she didn’t even know he was the pig. If she knew, she would probably call him a perv for being in the girl’s locker room and what’s funny of how he gets nosebleeds whenever he sees a topless girls. I remember of a few characters that got nosebleeds from things that are too sexy they can’t handle it. There was this one character from Baka and test that got nosebleeds occasionally and Akihisa got a nosebleed after seeing Himiji in a bikini. Man she was sexy, he couldn’t handle it 😂.

I first heard Equal Romance when I was a 14 year old boy - it was on a CD that my friend let me borrow. My family was visiting a large city and one night, I stayed behind in the hotel when they went out. There, in the dark room, high above the streets, looking out the window onto the sparkling metropolis, I listened to this CD. I had barely heard any anime music. But the song grabbed me. I thought, "these girls are probably so cute who sing this". 29 years later I still listen to music from Ranma 1/2. It just reminds me of such an optimistic time in my life, a time when the mind believed in total fantasy, total possibility. Anyway, it's a good song.
