We Visited Gujarat last October and Kutch was first on the list because of the white dessert, but we found something else. Watch the video till the end, don't miss that sunset.
We stayed in Bhuj, because during off season there is limited stays available near salt flats and its expensive. Bhuj city is around 100km from kutch white desert.

In which month did you visit kutch? We will be visiting kutch on 1st November. Is kutch dry in 1st week of November i.e. will we be able see salt desert.

Probably not, we visited at the end of October. Jan, Feb would be the best month if you want to see white dessert.
