Its about how Dave was talking anti-violence and politics shit at the time before he blew up (for instance on the track Hangman, Chip also mentions it later on), but now in 2021 he just talks about Zombie knifes and flexing watches. Chip is pratically talking about the hypocracy of artists that blowing up and no longer adress the shit they used to

@@etotheipi42 Chip didn't even try to blow up in the US, he went to TI's label to study the game, both other rap styles and running an independent label, he jumped on a few features, and he dropped one mixtape, which he gave away for free, this is when people started talking mad ish, cuz he moved to the US for two years to acquire knowledge, now he is working on buying his masters back from the label he was signed to before signing with TI and that little two year working vacation, you'd think he would get more support for what he is trying to do, create an independent label where people from uk scene aren't required to sell their souls to make music, most people listening to music while he was here didn't even realize he had been living in the states until he had already been back in the UK for a couple years

That lyric video you watched for the chip tune had a load of wrong lyrics in it. Anyway, stormzys "slid round after his birthday on a happy belated one, burned that bridge, cremated one, bailiff one." Another reference to him pulling up at chips place last year. "Got away with murder" basically insinuating nothing happened to him as a result of pulling up, other than bars of course. A couple of other minor disses finish out his verse like the "hit could have penned him one" bar. Chip basically tore down the song, "you don't battle rap, why drop and call it clash" reference to the fact stormzy still hasn't directly responded to chip. Calling out his "sneaky features" and indirects is because stormzy took offence at a bar chip did on "waze" (I think but not 100) thought it was an indirect at him and pulled up at chips house with 4 goons. He also took shots at dave with the lines "let him indirect on your song, hole in 2, all for 1" kinda like you allowed this so now you're in my scope too. "2018, wanna increase stop and search coz black kids dying ain't fun, now it's zombies and ride outs guess it's 2021" dave tweeted that stop and search (a controversial law that disproportionately targeted black youth to probably *illegal* searches) should be brought back because although flawed it was a deterrent, he got a lot of heat for it and yet now he's talking about "stick him up with a stick, stick he drew the shortest one" and "zombie mode, my guys on ride out mode, survival mode" Last lines, "stop the lies, bare cap, man are living nice" and "about aston, you --- ain't got my drive" Kind of playing him with his own words, how do it put this. How are you gonna try and claim you are all in the dirty, violent side of the lifestyle but you're designing an Aston and flashing a rolex or 50?
