Thanks for reacting to WayV! You had some great comments that people often overlook! The musical drops, the slowing and then upbeat, the nuances of the choreo, that it was R&B, and the water detail! The emotional vocals, like wow! I was more enthralled in the emotional lyrics and the fact that it was looking a man's perspective of regret and remorse of a breakup. That was refreshing to me as a woman. We often feel that we are the only ones hurt in breakups and the man just merrily goes on his way to another conquest leaving us in the wake and ashes! Such a beautiful, cinematic, instrumental, orchestral, lyrical masterpiece!

A huge part of the choreo was done by Ten. Those moves have Ten stamped all over them.😅 I love that they went this direction. All the members had a lot of say on how things were done in this comeback. Among the NCT unit, only they could deliver this type of thing. On My Youth has an English version too. For me this is their best title track to date.

I really wish that SM promoted them more and allowed them to have more comebacks, but I understand that it is probably not as lucrative for SM to do so as there is quite a bit of anti-Chinese sentiment in S. Korea the past few years because of geopolitical tensions. I hate it when "the real world" interferes in my enjoyment of Kpop/Cpop! LOL

OMG YES! wayv!!! they are sooooooooooo good (like, the whole nct is tbh) and this new album is amazing. i was just saying that every wayv title track is different, so you get something new every time. hope you get to check them out, loved hearing your thoughts on this song and performance.

So glad we finally got to WayV!! Totally worth it, this song and album are incredible, Another amazing comeback for them. Funnily enough for this being your first introduction to WayV, this song is extremely different to their usual sound! Their signature is to have a darker, dramatic sound, which fits with this song, but their title tracks are usually a lot more upbeat and just...different lol Idk how to explain it, more Neo ig. But that's not a bad thing at all! This is beautiful and a wonderful direction to go in, really makes me feel things emotionally. WayV are so good at emoting musically. And that's the beauty of NCT, their versatility is insane. WayV have 6 members and the members are Kun (the leader, one of the main vocals), Ten (you obviously know him from "Baggy Jeans"), Xiaojun (theeee main vocal, he's the one singing those high notes and who you asked about at 6:31 + 12:16), Winwin (platinum blond hair, deeper voice), Hendery (longer black hair, one of the rappers), Yangyang (reddish hair, the maknae - or didi in chinese! - main rapper, he's amazing) Xiaojun is one of my absolute favorite vocalists ever. Definitely the best of the male 4th gen in my opinion! He has my 2nd fave voice after Doyoung in NCT. Track Videos (Or also called 'Archiving Videos' sometimes by SM - this company is weird and inconsistent just go with it) are just music videos for shortened versions of bside tracks. the length can vary but it's generally 1-2 mins of audio with a video. NCT releases at least 1 for every comeback lately. Golden Age album had "The Bat", "PADO", "Kangaroo" and "Alley Oop" get 'Archiving Videos' (it's the same thing just a different name), Fact Check album got "Angel Eyes" Track Video, and this On My Youth album got "No One But You + INVINCIBLE" (this combined both bside tracks into 1 video since the videos are connected) and "Poppin' Love". I HIGHLY recommend watching those! You've now checked out 5/6 NCT units. All that's left is NCT DoJaeJung (aka DJJ which is Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo of 127)! Also you've watched NCT Dream's Killing Voice, but not an individual music video, so it might be cool to check out "ISTJ" (and the track video for that album "Poison"). Also I HATE to keep throwing suggestions at you since I know you're probably so overwhelmed bc NCT is a LOT to handle trust me I GET it. BUUUUT It might also be a cool idea to have a little "solo special" for the NCT members with solo songs! Not a lot of them do which is why I thought of it! The lyrics are kind of hauntingly beautiful, too, telling a sorrowful story of regret. And omggg their voices??? INSANE! Side note: dude, the expression on your face during that last high note was honestly so relatable, I too, was BEYOND SHOOK. WayV are incredibly talented and have such soulful voices!

Track videos are like teasers of the b-sides of an album. Fan sentiment aside, their recent track videos are must-watch cuz the songs are great and the videos were tastefully done. There are two of them for this album and it's best to watch them in sequence cuz they are connected 1. No One But You + Invincible (2 tracks in 1 video) 2. Poppin Love It would be great if you can check them out, but hey, no pressure.👍

Track video is similar to MV but the shorter version, they're in it doing choreo and stuff with full styling & concept but you must listen to the album if you want to hear the full song. Btw thank you for reacting to wayv! On My Youth is very different from their previous works but some of their videos I'd recommed to check out: Phantom, Diamonds Only (track video but very cool!), Moonwalk, Kick Back, Nectar (no official video but the song itself is chef's kiss)

the album is a must listen but if you just want certain songs, i recommend poppin' love and rodeo. this two stands out the most for me. rodeo is the rap line song so you might like it 😊

I think you’ll really like the performance video, which is also the English version of this track! It’s so good, these boys can really move. Also, I agree that it’s so impactful when groups dance with the members facing in different directions. It looks wrong but feels right 😌

Many talked about Xoijun vacal I barely see comment about Kun,he also doing good. About Ten I already know about that. Hendery and Yang are good in their part, Winwin also doing good.
