⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏴 🏴 🏴 "Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) - This is pretty much a master class in audience control. BABYMETAL believe that if a song sounds too much like one genre, then it's not a BABYMETAL song. You can definitely feel the speed metal component in this one though. This performance was at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) in January of 2015 with a sold out crowd of over 20,000. BABYMETAL's lead singer, Suzuka Nakamoto first appeared at SSA in 2008 as a member of the J-Pop trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old. She's been back many times since, headlining with BABYMETALo. Guitarists that night were Takayoshi Ohmura (with "Pink-chan") and Leda Cygnus. The bassist was BOH, and the drummer was Hideki Aoyama. Hideki's father and brother were also drummers, so it's kind of in his blood. The other recent Kami Band drummer, Anthony Barone, is phenomenal as well. He used to play with Shadow of Intent.

you should watch the official videos for: * _doki doki morning_ see babymetal's first song and the origin of all that follows. marvel at how young they look, and then remember that this isn't even suzuka nakamoto's first band. * _megitsune_ this is probably babymetal's signature song, to the extent they have one. it's a strong fusion of metal and classical japanese elements, and an ode to japanese women. pay attention to suzuka's microphone as it may surprise you.

This girls literally went to talent school and took courses on how to sing and dance at the same time keeping up vocally with all the energy spent dancing thats why they’re so good 😊

Ijime Dame Zettai live at Sonisphere is a good one to check next, this is their first major show outside of Asia, and is sometimes referred to as " The miracle of Sonisphere". This is the show that really put them on the world map. A UK metal festival is probably not an ideal place for 3 little girls to start their path to world domination but, they killed it big time with just a short set. You will love it. 🦊🦊🔥🦊🦊

Of course Aussie mates did the same thing at Good Thing Festival 2018. In your video, Su shouted some words at 09:12 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then. Now in 2021, on the final day (April 15) of 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts, Su shouted the same words in the end-all of the show. She did it smilingly with mild and friendly voice. It meant, I believe, "come on guys!" The audience smiled her back. I was there at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿

one of the tings I find most interesting, after you consider their sound, dancing, and theatrics is the fact in this vidoe (if I saw the correct date link) SUMETAl is only 17, and the Yiu and MOA are 15. if I was able to aquire all the energy I have spent in my lifetime, these three young ladies would leave me in the dust

Excellent reaction - and you absolutely got what this song is about - forging your own road, not necessarily following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could well be related to BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't been an easy route to follow. This was at the Saitama Super Arena in January 2015. Su had just turned 17, Yui and Moa were both still 15 and that was a sell out crowd of over 20,000 people completely under their control, every one of them singing along. As you thought, this was the show closer, the last encore, at the end of a 90ish minute concert and they had that crowd with them all the way with that same energy and quality from the first seconds to the last.

I honestly think that their video is on such a high level that if it had been released during the 80s/early 90s it would have propelled Babymetal the same legendary status as Metallica, KISS or Iron Maiden. It would re-shape metal as we know it as it influenced other bands.

Like what Metal music can be good, all is not accessible in Metal, even for me, which follows however fan, but Metal it is not that people who scream, although that can be very good, but to appreciate it it is necessary to go more in depth in Metal, but gently, as with the symphonic Metal which is more accessible to the not metaleux and then to discover other kinds of Metal more hard, I think that to go a little deeper into Metal, but not too aggressive Nightwish can be a good start (concert Wacken 2013 on KZfaq), I'm not a big fan of Nigthwish but this concert is great, beware if you do Nightwish you will see the fan base land which is much larger than BABYMETAL, generally the first song proposed of this concert is "Gost love score", it is a must. Have a good trip to the Metal planet, you will see that not everything is to be thrown away. And I'm looking forward to a review of the BABYMETAL guide, you'll learn a lot of things and that the way was not so easy, for a so called "prefabricated band".

This was the song that sold me on BM. You are right that this was the end of the concert and in fact they cut some of the final "We are Babymetal" shouts from the video, in the concert they went to both sides of the stage as well. I was initially interested by Megitsune way back in 2014 and then saw ROR at Saitama in 2015 and became a fan because I ended the song an emotional wreck. You also had a strong emotional reaction and the ability to connect with a 20k audience or a single KZfaqr is one of the things that makes BM special. They take you from one pinnacle to another and just keep on going. They specialize in sensory overload with the singing, dancing, instruments, staging, pyro and the crowd. But for me the real hero is the drummer, Hideki Aoyama, I think this song averages over 200 BPM...OMFoxG. The song has a strong Dragonforce vibe because Li and Totman worked on it and play it on the album, but I like this live Kami Band version more. The concert has a great stage set up and the famous Yui leap over Moa during IDZ as well as this definitive performance. "Road of Resistance" is about fighting and resisting even if you can't see the way ahead; that's a common theme for Babymetal songs. At the end of the crowd "wows" I love the combination of the insanely fast guitar riff and the dance sequence that ends with the girls standing strongly and outlined by the lights, that's where I really get the chills, unfortunately you've edited that bit out. It shows how well the Babymetal team works to bring together music, singing, dancing and stage and lighting design. They use theatrical elements really well and the whole team are incredibly talented.

Ok I’m a bit late to this channel… BABYMETAL songs to react to? Karate live at Bodukan 2021 or Download Uk 2016 (either is a fantastic live performance, was at download that year and fell in love with them then), distortion live, megitsune live, pa pa ya!!!, da da dance, oh! Majinai (think I spelled it right) Iine (seeing as your a big rap fan, also spelled with a capital i not an L), doki doki morning, tale of two destinies is a very good live one as well (trippy musically but amazing) and those are my recommendations at the moment also you should react to bring me the horizon ft BABYMETAL kingslayer seeing as your a fan of both now (again amazing track, plus they have just announced last week that they are returning with a brand new album next year so presumably they will be touring again as well can’t wait!

They teamed up with the guitarist from Dragonforce to write this song. But then you knew that. Oh...and I believe Sue metal has 'digital' help for her singing. This takes NOTHING away from her talent though. I'm not a hater.

Yeah its hard to dance and sing.. thats for sure.. but remember we have trail blazers like Madona, Janet Jackson today Lady Gaga who actually loves Babymetal and had them open for her 7 yrs ago. Just got to practice at it. Also she doesnt jump as much as Moa and whoever the other scream and dancer is. Just always seems like it. It does take alot of extra stamina for sure. She holds a mic.. so that also takes practice to keep it steady while moving around. Janet liked to use a headset alot. Moa has a headset, but the backing vocals she provides are mostly cheering not actual harmonized chorus's or anything like that.

The prize to pay to have this level of talent among your artists hangs in the Aokigahara forest. Suzuka Nakamoto comes from a high level artist school most people can only dream of being accepted to, and the dedication required to enter may be harmful for those rejected.

Su's voice is indeed fantastic, and she is a true queen up there on stage. 🦊 For another very good example of how good she is, I recommend the song 'Akatsuki' in BOTH live versions. First the regular 'Black Night' version and then the 'unfinished version' from the 'Legend 1997' concert, of which there is also a video with English subtitles here on YT. You said you were going to react to the Babymetal Guide next, but you really need to react to Babymetal DEATH (Legend 1997) before that. There are spoilers in the guide. I'm sorry but this video also will most likely get blocked :( This performance almost always gets blocked... If it does, you can try to put a transparent logo on top, or play a bit with the video opacity, and then you can upload it again! For most reactor it has worked! That setup actually had 3 bridges, one in the front and 1 on each side, that could be lifted for the performance! During one song, "Rondo of Nightmare", one of those bridges was lifted a bit while SU was singing on top of it :)

You should check out Babymetal Death Legend 1997 before you see the guide. If you like the drums listen to Band-Maid, a Japanese Hard Rock band. Akane the drummer is one of the best. Their Song Freedom is one of many with a drum solo. If you like Babymetal chances are pretty high you like Band-Maid too.

I think I like. I'm going to put them right up there with Band-Maid as a new favorite band.
