Not many rappers can switch up languages and still make it sound good and make since like he can.

Joke is basically a comeback to all of those who said he wasn’t a good rapper because he couldn’t rap fast, in this video he obviously proves them wrong but while he is making a lot of disses there is really no meaning behind all of them and he did that on purpose because he wanted to prove that rapping fast doesn’t even mean anything if you don’t have a good flow. People would try to shade his rap skills, saying that he had no flow and no speed. So he made this track as a “joke” to show off his speed and in it he also shades back that criticism by pointing out that you can’t rap as fast as you want but if you’re just saying nonsense, what’s the point. Hence some verses like ‘bibbidy bobbedy’ he was mocking the rappers. Not only RM’s rap is not only nice, it’s intelligent and in ways I don’t even fully understand because you kind of have to get Korean culture and sayings to fully grasp the wordplay. Personally, I think he’s in the hospital in the MV because he’s a “Rap Monster” so they have to contain him, if that even makes any sense.
