When we listen to his old tracks his flow oozed out his confidence about his craft. But as we come to later after the movie he sounds more egoistic and it can seen during his guest judge appearence on hustle. Then his couple of bad freestyles got viral too and now in interview and in his songs you can clearly see lack of confidence in his flow and voice. Thats my take and i might be wrong but thats what i feel about his career drop

Maybe people told him to not rap because it's not allowed in the religion or something like that. You can also depict from his appearance that he is more into religion than before.
