I love how this version of Raph actually has a consistent reason to get angry. 87 was just rude, 03 was angry for no reason, 2012 tried to give us the “he’s angry at the people hurting his brothers” reason but they abandoned that pretty early in the series, Rise makes him really chill but he cracks under pressure and gets easily frustrated when people don’t do things as efficiently as him. His anger isn’t some eternal force within him, it’s just something that comes with the fact that he’s REALLY bad under pressure, like real anger not being tied to itself but being a byproduct of varying emotions, for Raph it’s panic.

The fact that Leo, Donnie and Mikey all have the same physique and Raph is just a fucking tank is hilarious.

This version of Raph is the superior. Has most of the brain cells, built like a tank, is angry but with a cause, supportive big brother, protective AF, and overall hilarious. We just don’t deserve him.

This is my favorite version of Raph; he still has his anger issues but it comes from anxiety due to being the leader. He's just a big ol softie and he needs a break. #saverottmnt

As the oldest child, I can confirm, this is how it looks 90% of the time

I love that this Raph isn't an angry hot headed turtle, he's a big brother who doesn't have all the answers as he feel like he should, worries for his brothers to the point of being over protective and the fact he is overall a goof ball at times. But he still tries his best, he still tries to be the leader (to the point where his brothers follow him when needed and still look to him for answers), he's genuinely a good guy to be around and you would trust him and, like basically everyone else in the Hamato clan, he values family love above all else. He's my favorite version so far.

As an eldest sibling of four (three plus me) with basically his exact personality, I feel this video on a spiritual level.

This version of Raph is such a breath of fresh air. Having his rage be more out of loving concern for his brothers other than just sibling rivalry makes him my favorite turtle in this show when I'd put the other versions of Raph as my 3rd in most others.

Raph don’t get enough appreciation, glad this video exists.

He's like the perfect combination of how big brothers wish they could be like and what they actually are.

Man I feel like a lot of ppl say Raph doesn’t show any anger at all cause he doesn’t outright like rage scream or anything at everyone but like he does get angry, he just doesn’t lash out and beat up his brothers cause he is. I love this version of him so much 🥺

I feel seen. I have never seen an older sibling character that is on the constant verge of a break down. Most of the time they're cool and collected and have a breakdown during the final scenes, but Raph has one every episode and that's how I am almost everyday.

Raph as both mom and oldest sibling energy and they conflict each other so much, I feel for him.

I like how the balanced out Raph being on the softer more level-headed side while still having somewhat of an anger issue

He is still the old Raph everyone loves, but because he is the oldest, he is more caring and loving, and MAN DO I LOVE RISE RAPH! Older sister of two talking here. I can confirm without a doubt that most of Raph’s behaviours are relatable AF; Yea, am very protective and try to prevent them from doing dangerous stuff. Yes, they *often* rely on me in specific situations. Yes, immediately takes charge when something concerning happens. Yes, constantly tell them to not do anything reckless. Yes, they are very stressful. Yes, try to encourage them to work out problems by themselves! ANDDD do indeed make “threats” to put them in the toilet!

I love previous versions of Rapha especially the 2012 one, But between us I just FALL IN LOVE For this Rapha type, he represents most of the older brothers, always putting their individualities aside, always carrying the weight on his back always trying to be strong He is almost the male version of Luísa de encanted Even though she is not officially older, they are both physically strong but fragile, emotional and people around don't notice.

this being my first tmnt continuity, i cant say much about this raph vs the others. what i like about him is that he looks like he'd be a meathead type character, smash first ask questions later kind of guy. i think he'd actually sorta like to be a smash first questions later guy, because then he wouldn't be fretting over everything all the time ! raph's a big boy, but mostly he's a big brother. big body = big heart.. big arms for big hugs....

Okay, I've only seen bits n pieces of this show, and even I can tell that poor Raphael needs a break Especially when dealing with disaster twins Leo n Donnie and slapping them lol

You know, Raph was never my FAVORITE turtle, not even close. That was always Mikey, no matter what. In other series, Raph was at least more interesting than Leo, but that only took him so far. I received 2012!Raph probably the worst. But in RotTMNT, he is constantly competing for my favorite turtle, and it’s a struggle every week to decide who’s my favorite. I just, love him SO MUCH! He was given more than just being the angry one, and it’s a nice change of pace. I swear, more people need to give Rise!Raph more love. He deserves the best, as well as a LONG, relaxing vacation. It’s usually Leo and Donnie I see getting more love, but Raph should have more, too. ESPECIALLY after the movie. That was just, oof. Poor Raph😞.
