Veloharmony, i've just started watching some of your videos, nice channel. I was watching your video on bib shorts vs non bib shorts and was a bit surprised at the analysis. I've been riding for over 3 years and have never had problems with cycling shorts, never had to make an adjustment during a ride. I didn't know bib shorts were so popular compared to normal ones and was surprised at the line "serious cyclist wear bib shorts".

That’s pretty much the way it is, the bib shorts just work better. The regular shorts just don’t have the same fit. If they work for you great but they are not the choice of experienced cyclists for the reasons mentioned in the video, Usman. Glad you found the channel.

Fit is a very personal thing, was just a little surprised that the answer given was so definitive. Shorts, bib shorts, mtb shorts, whatever keeps you comfortable and riding. Thanks for the reply.

I got this at full retail price some time back but the material used at the helm loosened after a couple of washes so not psyched about that. That aside, great bib shorts. My go-to shorts

Excellent review man. Thank you VH. There is no doubt you like quality. FYI. I wear cafe day cyclists only problem is that they are dear!😊, but the quality is there. Do you know the brand.

They state that they make premium cycling apparel and are not more expensive than Rapha or even Assos. Their bibshorts use Cytech pads and that is the same Company that makes pads for many fo the top manufacturers, including Rapha. I didn't see too many Jersey design aesthetics that I like, except for the Ultralightweight Jerseys with the double mesh technology which is non transparent. They appear to put items on Sale which would be a logical time for anyone to try their stuff. I think their quality is good but their designs are an acquired taste and it would have to take some serious getting used to.

How do the shorts hold up for 200km distances? As I read that some chamois works great for 80-100km rides, but the moment you hit 160-200km, then the chamois pads don't hold up that well (the description people usually give is the foam compressed and doesn't work as well during the early rides) And I looooove the Pro Team II leg grippers, that's my favourite part of the short when I tried it a few months ago

I rode it for 143km this weekend. It held up fine. That’s why they’re called Pro Team. You read about non premium shorts.

Never tried the pro teams bibs I have the flighweigh. What the major differences. I guess they are not as lightweight
