This is the backstory: "For the better understanding of those who have listened to this judgment and of those who may report it hereafter this is not a finding of innocence, far from it." Rowe, Davis and Johnson, from Sydenham, south London, were jailed for three violent robberies committed in the early hours of December 16, 1988. One led to the death of a hairdresser, Peter Hurburgh, who was dragged at gunpoint from his car, tied up, beaten and doused with petrol. He had a heart attack. Timothy Napier, 40, was stabbed when three men broke into his father's house in Oxted, Surrey. Later, three men also broke into a house in Fetcham, Surrey, and demanded jewellery, cash and car keys. Their weapons included a machete and a gun. This guy is guilty af and was released on a technicality. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M25_Three

@@dreamofsprings that's the exception not the norm. Majority of western justice systems are corrupt and prosecutors only care about getting guilty verdicts cuz it moves then up in there career to become district attorney which is head of all prosecutors.its a numbers game tk them they don't care who they screw over like this man who was obviously innocent when the own witnesses say a white blonde hair man was the murderer on the witness stand in front of the jury. Norway and Scandinavian justice systems have ethics morals and other societal things that American, UK and other western justice systems lack. "For the better understanding of those who have listened to this judgment and of those who may report it hereafter this is not a finding of innocence, far from it." Rowe, Davis and Johnson, from Sydenham, south London, were jailed for three violent robberies committed in the early hours of December 16, 1988.

This was such an incredible episode and really helped bring a lot of light to the stereotype of “prisoner” I think. His show isn’t something I could watch but I’m so glad I got to hear his stories

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but the only thing that lets this episode down is the volume difference between yourselves and the guest. I believe that this is the best podcast channel on KZfaq so it's a shame when technicalities get in the way of the content.

Imagine being a Leicester fan coming out of prison after 10 years nowadays and finding out you're now top 10 regulars and have a title in the cabinet, and currently in the europa league. Imagine being a rangers fan coming out after 10 years, you think your club's in the mud, you think you're dead an buried, but no, you've qualified for the round of 32 of the europa league with a game to go, and you're on track for the 55th title. Imagine being an Arsenal fan coming out after 10 years and fuck all's changed

This guy is half of why I got addicted to "Inside The World's Toughest Prisons" about a week or so ago; he's legitimately interesting and compassionate to the inmates on the inside. I hope Sky, ITV, The BBC etc etc ask him to do more stuff, because I'll be watching it regardless.

So humbling to watch and hear you speak Raphael. This is a shocking insight into your life. I only know you from the IWTP series which I’ve been fascinated by and enjoyed. You do the documentary in such a manor that brilliant to watch. Although what happened to you is utterly appalling, I’m sure you wouldn’t be where you are now and us as viewers would never of had truly astonishing insight into other people’s lives that we have thanks to you, had you not had the experiences that you have had. Thank you 👏🏼👊🏼
