Apesar de que Rafael es parte del "No canon" hay que reconocer que es de lo mejor que nos entrego duel monster, un personaje tragico, decidido y con una gran personalidad y como dije, aunque participa en el no Canon, Rafael logro vencer a Atem de una forma legal y sin usar el sello, sin mencionar que logro llevarlo al Limite. Sus estrategias eran debastadoras, defensivas y sabia dar lo mejor para no que no lastimen a sus moustruos. 10 de 10 Akuri :)

I knew raphael wouldn't be an easy character since he's technically 1-1 with the king of the games, and while I'm glad righteous justice didn't appear to destroy guardian treasure, I have to applaud your memory that jaden had staunch defender, and Raphael had spell of pain.

Ok, incluso si no estoy conforme con el resultado, tengo que decir que ver a Jaden en uno de estos duelos usando los héroes elementales "débiles" como monstruos de campo para atacar y no como meros materiales de fusión me provocó una gran sonrisa que todavía no puedo sacarme de la cara.

Cómo me gustó ver a los héroes clásicos ser usados como monstruos de campo y no como materiales; sumado que Rafael es de los mejor de Duel Monster, cosa que me terminó encantando el duelo de principio a fin. 10/10

Finally the Duel I wanted to see happen, happened I swear if Doma was a GX Arc instead of a DM Arc everything would make sense given. 1. GX is the series thats more Fusion themed so the 3 Legendary Dragons are a must and fit right in. 2. Orichalcos having strong ties to the Light of Destruction fits as pay off to SOL Arc and the Yubel Arc. 3. Deals with more consequences of season 3 as Rafael claiming Jaden is evil makes more sense than claiming Atem is, plus it'll really test Jaden's character. 4. Losing Yubel in this duel pays off her role in protecting Jaden meaning hes left without her powers and must rely on his Supreme King powers. 5. Can maybe explore some lingering issues within the other members of the cast through their traumas in season 3 as lets be honest Dartz would manipulate that trauma like he did to Mai. 6. And the final battle between the Gentle Darkness and Light od Destruction would take place here. 7. Doma can power up the Great Leviathan with the Sacred Beasts.

Gotta say Rafael is easily my least favorite aspect of season 4. His motivation and rivalry with the pharaoh is flimsy and barely developed. His deck is absolutely unplayable and the only reason it works is due to anime writing. We can give Yugi, etc. all the blame we want, but their decks are at least so what playable in an Anime environment. Not Rafael though. Could you imagine what would have happened if Atem opened with MST? Rafael would autolose since he just wasted his entire hand to draw 2.
