these shifters are a dream. shifts instantly and smoothly. I just got my northrock xc6... what a great bike.... and the disc brakes, they stop you in a heart beat :)

very noob question but should you use both front and rear shifters together or doesn't it really matter how you use them? I have never really thought about it much until I got my new bike recently with these shifters. generally i just mess about with the right and left until I find the most suitable gear..I did read somewhere it is best to just leave the front one in the middle cog for the most part.

Is that hard to press? I mean harder than Shimano Revoshift?
