As a mom with a son with autism I think we are all just trying to do our best to help our kids. There’s so much unnecessary judgement from others who don’t understand. Constant research for new problem solving methods. Trying to understand your child better we just want to help them express themselves better and help them not feel trapped in their minds.

It seems like it would cause alot of unnecessary anxiety and stress for the students to have to answer fast questions.,I've been working with my son for 26 years on speech Therapy, I'd try this for sure but at a slower pace and 😊

Lot's of approaches can be modified to meet the needs of individuals, and sometimes you gotta try lots of approaches!

Hello. Insurance companies don't want to pay for RPM (or any FC) not only because there's no data being taken (which baffles me since how would you show progress then?) But there is little, if any, empirical peer-reviewed articles showing FC actually does what it claims to do. It is not deemed medically necessary. Science has shown FC "communication" is just the thoughts of the facilitator, not the learner. It makes me sad to know there are people who intentionally prey on desperate families who don't know where to turn.

Well said! We made this to breakdown the term, not suggest it as a treatment method unless your healthcare provider says to do so!
