I love her cat in the back 🐈 I’m the reverse. I’ve moved so much the past 30 odd years. I’ve never really kept anything for long. I recently moved and I donated 60% of my stuff and it felt so cathartic.

There something about hearing the past is the past that seems to make me feel mad then relieved, I’m not sure why, maybe it because of the feeling of feeling like someone got away with it Can anyone relate to it?

It's easy to say "let go", but if we have regrets from the past and should have not done those things or had done the things which we now think of, it's difficult! It's hard not to hold on, the process of moving on is like dying, as if you're alive but dead in the inside! It's not the things that should be empty, but it's the regrets which are difficult to empty! It's just so hard, as if you can't forgive your self as the it seems people blamed you for such things! Just that, it's not easy!

Yes well it’s easy to say “let go” if it was that easy everyone would do it. It’s not easy when you’ve been messed over and lost a LOT of time. Energy possessions etc.

Try letting go of saying you cannot let go. Say out loud “I AM LETTING GO” 100 times a day. It works. #R76

Dolores cannon talks about this too! Holding on is only hurting u not the person who hurt u. My cousin molested me n rapped me for over 10 years, I was 8 when he started. I told my mom n family n no one belived me, my childhood was so F-ED up. I hated him n my mom for 30 yrs n then I wrote them both a letter n forgave them n myself...it took 30 years but I let it go. It is hard but u r worth letting it go. Ur mental health n heath in general will greatly improve.

Figuring out why you're not letting go can help you let go too, like Marissa is giving an examples of why we don't let go ie, if I let it go I might miss out, I might be on my own, just addressing the part of you that is not letting go and telling them how things will improve when they let go will also help them let go, especially when you release the emotions and pain of the thing you're keeping hold of.
