Late 90s early 2000s NY battle legend (at places like “The Wetlands), then secret song on Tech’s “Dance With the Devil” fire verse in 2001 and he’s put out fire ever since! This & “The Marvel” which just dropped more proof that’s he’s one of the illest emcees period the last 20 years and today!

Can't stop coming back to this 'bolic verse, it is incredible. One of the best he's dropped. Thing I love about this dude though, is how other rappers look at him. Every vid like this, he's the stand out performer and the other MC's know it. When Diabolic steps to the mic on a cypher, the atmosphere in the room visibly changes more than it does for any other MC. Everyone is always excited to hear his rhymes. That's the ultimate show of respect. If he isn't your favourite rapper's favourite rapper, your favourite rapper don't know shit.

I think this is a perfect example of what Lord Jamar is talking about regarding white mc's and females not relateable to him. The Chuck and Lock stuff is kind of a the nasally sound, nerdy back pack hip hop and different content.
