6 жыл бұрынHip hop artist 21 Savage didn’t have a lot of money growing up, so he says his latest venture is a bit “ironic.” On the heels of his hit single, “Bank Account,” Savage launched a campaign to donate $1,000 to 21 money-strapped kids to teach them the basics of personal finance. He shares his tips in an interview with THINK, and then we put his budgeting skills to the test.

Please do more of this. It's the only way most kids will listen. Kids from the south side of Chicago are never going to listen to warren buffet but they will listen to their favorite rappers. I know this won't solve everything but it's a start. I love that he's trying to teach financial literacy to young people and I wish more rappers would do something similar.

Joel Rosario I'm from where hes from. What a lot of people who aren't seem to misunderstand is game. In this case it's called the rap game. Very few successful rappers are actually stupid. They learned business in the streets and by navigating the entertainment industry.

chris thurman I agree with you. I think the majority of rappers are really intelligent and could have done anything. But you know, I'm one of those "old heads" that have had a hard time accepting the process of the new rappers. But yeah, definitly takes intelligence to make it out of where you and he are from and then to really succeed in a way others can't.

Great tips, you’re a savage 😎. 50, 30, 20 rule for me. 50% of my income goes towards necessities, 30% necessities &bills. Lastly, 20% gets saved every week. It’s not a lot, but it adds up. One day I will have money to live the life I want to. KZfaq is my dream career, hope to make it to the top ✌🏼
