Led Zeppelin were utterly amazing. Jimmy Page played his guitar in all sorts of innpvative ways including with a violin bow (roll back the video and you can catch a glimpse of it in the orgasmic bit!). And singer Robert Plant was so damned HOT. He was a blond rock god and he sang from his soul. He is still beautiful and he still singing. There's no doubt he got plenty when he was in that band.

Came to the comments to see if someone had posted about Zep used in hip hop samples over the years and saw the excellent post above. 👍 In the early years of hip hop it was "When the Levee Breaks" & "Black dog" that used to get sampled a lot. Everyone loved Bonham's grooves and sound. Even modern rock drummers often cite him as their fav drummer.
@dionnedevillierssmith95824 ай бұрын
Just so you know, you have just witnessed one of the greatest drummers of all time, John ‘Bonzo’ Bonham. He tragically died in 1980 and Zepplin never recovered, but Rob Plant still sings, and Jimmy Page is an iconic guitarist. You should probably do Stairway to Heaven next, and then check out the Kennedy Centre Awards tribute by Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart.
@DianeLake-sw3ym4 ай бұрын
see my feelings about the Kennedy honors version above. I do have to strongly disagree with having him hear that over produced over done version. Better to stick with the original

people go on about the beatles, and for good reason to be fair, but when talking about the greatest ever, just the fact that Ringo was in the band removes them from the conversation. Plant, Page, JPJ and Bonham are all, at the very least, in the conversation of the greatest ever for the respective instruments. the fact that they somehow found each other is truly a gift from the rock gods. 11 years was nowhere near enough, but it was much more than we deserve. RIP Bono

@user-ni1hj2ht2g4 ай бұрын
There is no need for stereo sound anymore. No musicians playing real instruments, nobody sings with out running their voice through a computer. To rap means to talk. The "music" is computer generated not musician played on instruments. So no need for headphones. I've seen 2 people share 1 set of earbuds no need for both because its not music in stereo. So, in my humble opinion, anyone who is using earbuds instead of headphones isn't listening to any genre of music at all

This 4 guys are each the GOAT of their craft, & together they are the GODS of music. All 4 are listed as at least top 3 of their craft, & often the very top. Every song of every genre they do is absolutely amazing, there may be a couple not your favorite, but certainly not because it’s a bad song. They got together towards the end of 1968, played to get her a couple weeks, & in about 36 hours recorded & produced their first album. It was released in January of (1969), while touring they recorded their second album on the road, this song was on that album & released in October of (1969). They were together from (1968 to 1980) when sadly drummer John Bonham passed away, the band knew they couldn’t go on with out him. Do more Led Zeppelin, & so many of us will be there to listen, you won’t be disappointed I promise.

British bands were probably the best in the world back in the day. Funny how so many Americans think they're American bands because they don't associate British music with metal. Yes you got it right lol. 🏴

Awww the 70's!! My teenage years! We all wore our band t-shirts to high school. We were the first to hear the best bands ever.

Listen, I have to say that watching this reaction and experiencing it through your eyes and ears was too funny. I grew up with Led Zeppelin, and to this day they are still my favorite group ever! I love lots of music but LZ will always have a special place in my heart. I have to admit that you kind of have to have been from that time era to fully understand and appreciate the music of the 1970 and 1980s. Not that you don't get it but this band touched people and was a part of their everyday lives for years back then. They are the one band that just about all other rock bands after them strived to be like and are considered the kings of rock and roll. The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture and in 2012 they honored Led Zeppelin. Even President Obama and his wife were there to see them receive this award and to watch other famous rock stars pay their respect and sing one of their songs. I hope that you listen too some of their other songs as well as their songs are all unique from each other. My suggestion would be to check out a song of theirs called No Quarter live kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ob1jq6eL19Kmgac.htmlsi=E2q8onAlAKswkO5-, I think you would like this one along with others also. Thanks for the reaction, very cool that you appreciate good music of all kinds! :o)

Listen up brah. I just cried thru your review of Five finger. I'm Navy Spec Ops and I feel alone. We should do a Vet Tribute Show in Springs. I'm in Aurora. For real. Much respect 40

You are never alone. I’m a 63yr old Aussie mum who’s nephew did 2 tours of Afghanistan and we nearly lost him to PTSD. So many people care about you, even if you don’t know them. My love to you from Australia ❤️

Led Zeppelin has a big body of work. And it's all good. You should check them out and if you haven't ever heard of any Bad Company you should check them out. Great show. Keep discovering. We old people have a ton of musical treasures and we would love to share them with you ❤❤❤

Nights in White Satin is the Jewel of the Crown of Led Zepplin, One of the best bands of all time. Take the time to watch the tribute to them at the Kennedy Honors in 2014. They cried what the band Heart covered Nights in White Satin.

I heard this bad for the first time when I was like 14, finding my dad’s tape, I played it and LOVED this! My mom and dad always told me, “you have no idea how wild the 70’s were” I believe them.

They stayed on tour for their first 5 years and produced 5 albums from 1969-1973. There are so.... many great songs from them. You want one that's very full of innuendo then check out "The Lemon Song". Now if you've ever seen the film "Almost Famous" then you've heard their song "Tangerine". Their 2 most famous songs are "Stairway to Heaven" & "Kashmir". Now all that being said, my recommendation for you to check out is"Achilles Last Stand". John Bonham's drumming is phenomenal. Don't get me wrong. He's phenomenal on everything, but on that song,WOW!

“Backdoor Man” is a reoccurring theme in blues and classic rock. It actually means the “other man”, the guy hitting it on the side, because he’s going out the backdoor when the main man walks in the front door.

right on, bro. and "Way, way down inside, i'm gonna give you my love" means like in the basement of a house when nobody's home. or maybe in an underground bunker or fallout shelter.

@@chuckleezodiac24 the lyrics to “Since I’ve Been Loving You” by Led Zep: “Came in my front door, hear my back door slam, I must have one of them new-fangled back doors, man.” It goes back to 1920’s delta blues. It doesn’t mean newer artists don’t use double entendres, but know your music history before you try to call someone out.

Zeppelin is my all time favorite band. All of their music is amazing. John Bonham’s drum solo is one of the best ever.

So many have tried to emulate this group and failed. You have never heard anything like them before they came on the scene nor have any other sounded as good after them. They started true hard rock & roll and everything has changed ever since. Led Zeppelin started it all and still has not been topped.

BP you have just met 4 of the finest musicians that ever graced the earth literally… I was a kid and loved them… was too young to see them but I did see Jimmy Page and Robert Plant a few times in the 80s as a teen… yes more Led Zep are amazing… sadly the drummer Joh Bonham passed on my Birthday Sept 25 so I always remember him that day… I think I would go Kashmir , or Black Dog, Immigrant Song or The Rain Song…All great… thanks BP Lov ya guy! 🫶🏻

They played this on the FM rock radio in DC when I was a kid, late 60s early 70s. Never a complaint that I heard about. It was one of the most requested songs. I actually brought this album to my school and played it during study hall on the school's player. We were allowed to bring our own music from home.
