I'm 💯 in agreement. Late 60s up to 1980. Before that, not as timeless. After that, more electronics & commercialization. The 80s were not as ''natural'

Me two. Love the 60's, 70's music. We grew up on 8 tracks then cassettes', then CD"s. I would suggest Pegasus look into all that great music and the folks that put it all out there. Yes, the school dances where you actually had the dances at the school. Now a days they book another venue to have their school dances. I am a grandmother of four and I have a great grandson. Time sure flies. Kids today do not get to enjoy what we did. Being a female I used race my 1966 Chevelle SS not only on Main St., but at a raceway that was set up for us that wanted to race against one another. I had a lot of fun growing up in the 60's and 70's. The officers were never mean to us, they just gave us lecture and sent us on our way. Miss those days.

I really hate to tell you this, but one of the two founders of Player, Peter Beckett, was born and raised in Liverpool, England. He moved to Los Angeles to join a band called Skyband, which broke up after one album. Sadly, Beckett's wife left him and returned to England by the time he formed Player with American musician, JC Crowley. Crowley was also going through a breakup at the time, so they both channeled their feelings into writing the song "Baby Come Back". Beckett sang lead on the track. Crowley sang the line, “Nothing left for me” during the bridge. "Baby Come Back" was the breakthrough single for the band, gaining them mainstream success, and hitting number one, knocking label-mates The Bee Gees’ “How Deep Is Your Love” from the top spot. 🤩
