FYI: Dororo is one of the ORIGINAL anime back in the 60's that inspired pretty much all of the famous dark fantasy anime that followed it. That opening was for the recent remake from 2018 and it's definitely worth checking out.

Death Parade was one of those anime’s that really made you turn your head after you listen to the OP 😂 complete 180 to what I was expecting! If you haven’t you should definitely watch it! AmaLee’s cover of Flyers is brilliant also, the actual words in English really make it work with the anime

Dororo's OP is sung by Queen Bee. They did a First Take of Kaen and it is phenomenal. The emotion is out of this world

Angel Beats was one of the first truly emotional anime I watched, and is definitely one of the anime I include in the list that truly got me into the genre. Edit: Ah, the first second of the song made my heart explode.

Everything about Dororo is just beautiful from the story to art to the OP. Sucks Demon Slayer came out around the time so it flew under a lot of people's radar.

The amount of feelings i get when i remember Angel Beats is just overwhelming i also remember crying like a baby lol there is something about the music the story, everything about the show makes nostalgic. It's a cult classic i think you should totally watch it Nick!

Both of the Noragami openings are fire, the first 2 bungo stray dog openings slap, can’t forget the mob psycho openings, and probably an unpopular opinion but all the date a live openings are great too. The Death Parade OP is maybe 1 of 3 total openings/endings that I have enjoyed so much that I instantly became fans of the artist. The moment I heard Flyers when the show first came out, I became a Bradio fan for life, and still listen to everything they make to this day, even if none of their music afterwards was used in any anime.

Ahh the Death Parade opening... My expectations after watching the opening: Group of people partying like it's their last day. Reality:Existential crisis and sadness brought on by heavy morality scenarios... The Dororo op SLAPS! It was when MAPPA studios really got itself moving. I 100% recommend that anime. Its absolutely dark, gritty, and really amazing

‘Crying for Rain’ from Domestic Girlfriend is a must react to. Listening to the full version would be better imo Minami went hard are this one. You won’t regret it, heck it has a very high chance of being one your favorite openings. Other really good ones are ‘Gospel of the Throttle’ from Drifters ‘Gamble’ from Moonlit Fantasy ‘Sing My Pleasure’ from Vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song (not the grace version)

Death Parade lives up to its opening. It's only short, but it's one of the best anime ever made. It's dark, moody, funny, sad; it has great characters and twists of the story. Definitely worth watching.

Tbh Angel Beats has so many Powerful songs in the entire series that push it forwards and that perfectly fit in the scenes , that i recommend, if you like the opening you should hear the other songs aswell (not even for a video but a wholesome experience). Greetings from Germany 👍

angel beats is definitely in my top 10, its funny, emotional, beautiful, the whole package basically. it balances its comedy and emotion really well, and made me cry twice at the minimum. Id definitely recommend it for a full reaction.

Death Parade and Angel Beats aren't mentioned much because they're more so remembered for their openings, they have two of the most popular and iconic openings of the early-mid 2010s, and more people know the openings than know anything about the show.

Angel beats is a very comedic, action packed, and dramatic anime. The animation looks so good even though it has been a decade since it started. Sadly, the show didn't get a season 2 who knows why. There are only 13 episodes and 2 OVAs. Highly recommended. Also spoilers, don't read the replies if u haven't finished angel beats

Dororo's intro is my all time favorite and the song is sooo good. I understand why some people don't like the drop/chorus, but I still love it as much as the first part, tho this is coming from someone who listens to electronic 24/7. The anime is amazing and the intro (or at least the first half) is as good as it, and I personally think it's your style but still incredible for everyone.

So there's an anime that I really enjoy called Durarara, each of the openings for it are so catchy and good that I just end up listening to them on loop randomly sometimes. Highly recommend checking out each of them at some point. The anime itself is really unique too and is one that I've watched multiple times.

If you ever seen Clannad, the singer for Angel Beats OP will seem familiar as she also sang songs for Clannad. Both Clannad and Angel Beats are released by the same company, Key Visual, and they are known to release titles that make people bawl their eyes in tears from the emotions. Other titles such as AIr, and Kanon are also from Key Visual. Tons and tons of humor/funny ass scenes but the sad stuff hits you like Titanic.

I really hope Nick reacts to Angel Beats sometime because not only is the opening really pretty, the storyline is also super beautiful and emotional. The first time I actually watched/listened to the opening was only after I finished the show because I’d watch it in school and I had no earbuds, but watching the opening with all the clips from the show paired with the music and KNOWING what happens arguably made it 1000x more emotional and I loved it

The ones who did the Death Parade OP, Bradio, are simply one of the most feel good bands in existence. No matter how awful my day is, if a Bradio song comes on, the day is instantly one of the best

The Death Parade opening is still sick, I never get tired to hear it. It gives you so good vibes that's insane. If you want an opening I promise you'll love it, you really should listen to the 1st one of Mirai Nikki. There are also the 2nd one of Fate/stay night : unlimited blade works and the 1st of Your lie in April that I highly recommend

All the Overlord openings are so great. I never skip them and added Op 3&4 to my playlist. I think 3 is my favorite but 4 comes close. 2 is my least favorite but it's still so good. Ed 2 is my favorite though

"My soul, your beats" still 1 one the best anime openings. Anime(s) now has kind of hype openings and put a lot of action in it. While "MS,YB" has a soft music tone, simple slide, and on top of that, the singer is LiSA, bringing the emotions into the song. Its really refreshing when listen to the song now.

It took almost 50 years for a modern adaptation.

The things you say about the Death parade opening is quite funny since the official music video for the song is...pretty much that...just a lot of fun.

Also forgot to mention that Death Parade would be a good anime to react to. Since you're enjoying Death Note, you will likely enjoy Death Parade as well. It's done by the same studio and has a similar feel to it. Death Parade is only 12 episodes long. And there is a Death Note Easter egg in episode 11.

Youjo Senki has a banger OP and ED, highly recommend it (the OP is done by the same ppl as the Overlord OP you watched here, ED has the main character's VA singing) same as Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei OP1 (LiSa - Rising Hope), never hear anyone talk about it but it's quite good
