Every type of music is influenced by culture and other artists. Hip hop is so deep rooted in kpop. The modern kpop has advanced from it. If you notice, in most of their videos they have a little bit of Indian vibes. That is on purpose. One of the most populated countries is India. They were trying to hit all countries. They even all speak multiple languages. Lisa speaks 4 languages. They were made to be Mega Stars. But yes, they can all sing. No Manila Gorilla here! 🙈You might want to check out their live performances. I normally don't like live performances over studio but in their case it's better live. Their band is awesome and also brings a rock element which I think is needed. Plus you can also see them actually sing.

I had no idea I was going to love them so much. The kpop I heard in the past sounded really bubblegum-pop-like and I got put off by that but recently, a week ago, I was curious and listened to a Blackpink song that was recommended to me and now I'm hooked.
