He obtained a red belt in Taekwondo but didnt go further because it took too much time from music and was causing physical problems. Hes very athletic. One of his favorite activities is swimming which does as often as possible. He swims lengths of lg pools holding his breath to expand his lung capacity. Thats how he can do songs like Stranger and Sinful Passion. He is wholly committed to his music and works hard at it. He trains his voice 3 hrs a day with a trainer if possible. If not he says its at least him and the piano.

Yes, the fight scene was all him, he filmed behind the scenes footage where you can see him laugh and hug one of the actors when the bottle fails to break on his head. He did a couple of programmes in China where he was required to do some acting as well as singing, Phantacity and My Celebrity Boyfriend. Dimash's was asked in an interview once if he would ever consider an acting career but he replied that "he who follows two boats will surely drown" he is definitely improving as an actor though. Dimash has earned a red belt in taekwondo so that would explain his ability to convincingly pull off the fight scene. Dimash can fight yes. He did fightsport and was really good in it. But it was not a good combo with singing so he had to chose becoming a figter or a singer. You know what he did chose.
