This was done in ONE TAKE in an abandoned warehouse in LA. Both of these guys are even better live. So talented!!!! They are neighbors in north Nashville & good friends.

This video is eye candy. The whole thing in 1 take and they integrate the "real" sounds in the room into the video. When he gets into the elevator you hear the door open and the guitar start. Its so cool the way they did this video. Even better than the song.

Check out the 2015 CMA awards where they sing Tennessee Whiskey and Drink you Away live. Excellent music and reaction!! Chris is just a down to earth blues singer from KY. Both are very talented for sure!

Late to the game but you nailed the meaning of the song. J.T. wrote it about an incident in which he got caught up responding to a comment someone made against him on Twitter, in retrospect he realized that he shouldn't have said anything: "Sometimes the greatest way to say something is to say nothing at all."

Besides one take, pay attention to the spacial placement of the instruments. When the camera focuses on one player, that sounds is a little louder during that time. Very, very cool.
