Lace Up Movement was his push to get signed I believe, Released the Lace Up Mixtape and then after getting signed to Bad Boy he released the Lace Up Album. I love your breakdown - definitely going to go look for more. MGK has been underrated and overlooked. He had bars all the way back to thre song that got him noticed by Diddy (Chip Off the Block). As a rapper, I think you'd really be into his live performance of Blue Skies at Park Ave CDs (actually 4 songs, Almost, Blue Skies, Rolling Stone, Thoed Ass). I would also be really interested in your take on the production of his last album, Hotel Diablo. It's pretty amazing in my opinion. Thanks!! Looking forward to more.
