Blew my mind when you connected the name of the song with the line “if God ain’t real, real isn’t”. That is an epic bar breakdown. Never heard anyone else connect those before.

16:30 nf gets away without cursing and still carrying that emotion because, if you haven't noticed yet, in almost of his tracks he puts that emotion into his voice. He will leave a voice crack in a recording if it adds too it, he'll let it not be perfect if it makes it emotional. Throughout this song, he's practically YELLING the entire time, you can hear the strain in his voice at times and you can feel it in the track. He's great at making you feel everything he wants you to, angst and all

Two day ago was the 1st. time I heard NF. Already I've downloaded his album "Therapy." I know every feeling this brother feels, from his mom and pills to the abuse. I got out of my environment and expressed it in other ways (drugs, alcohol, sex, etc.) Saw my way into the light as well, through God. I feel his pain. Through his music he sees a way out. I vented my issues through self loathing and violence. The REAL difference between Nat and me is I'm 62 years old and a Marine. Age is not a deterrent to depression, anxiety and pain... Never give up. (I hope this helps somebody)

Ive listened to this song a billion and one times and cant believe i didnt catch the high five bar till he just explained it😂 this goes to show why hes one of the best reactors out there! I listen to rap alot and i usually have no issues with catching bars, but somehow such a simple bar has flown over my head a billion times till now😂

I must've heard this song hundreds of times back when it first came out and you out here point out double entendres and wordplays that I COMPLETELY missed. Can't believe as a fan of NF for seven years that I would have completely missed the true extent of NF's writing prowess, that made him very respected in the Christian Rap circles, as well as now inspiring rappers nowadays.

I can only imagine where he goes from here. in the search he was struggling with the career after getting to a very high level of fame "this whole business jaded, friends that had now they act different" from my stress. hes discouraged and im hoping he takes the time to not put out pressured timeline music and he just enjoys life to his best with his wife and finds that perfect tracklist to finally release as record number 5. the journey awaits. also Knox you kill it man. I love your stuff. i think you have great doubles and punchlines.

I say his album comes out in July 15, because if you look back on the very ending of PAID MY DUES where NF is drawing "LOST" on the peice of paper, it has a date written on it. Now it may sound strange but just look at the word "LOST" upside down and it reveals the numbers 1507... meaning the 07 is the 7th month of this year and the 15 means the 15th of that month, I might be wrong about this but it's getting close to being July and it could be possible. Who knows 🤷🏿‍♂️

It's all in his head. When he says in the beginning " let's get in that headspace' Love the beat in this song. Wish we knew when new album was coming. He's been quiet lately so I thonk he's been in Tommee's new studio recording. Sure note I love how in tune you are with Nate's music and the layers do many miss. I really wish one day you could meet Nate I think y'all,would sound good on a track together. You always point out things I've missed. I love this song and have listened to it so many times but you pointed out the line about the gernadr which I did catch the reference to the pen as in writing his rhymes. I am so enjoying your reaction videos to NF. I am a huge NF fan and it is cool to see other people reacting to his stuff. My favorite line in this one is "If God ain't real, real isn't". I love that Nate is just 100% real, he wears his garbage, he doesn't cuss, and he isn't afraid to also talk about God. Love your reactions. You really explain things easily. One thing you might have missed, most do. From When I Grow Up there's one part where he's talking about being the underdog. On a swing if you go all the way around and stay seated is called an underdog. So when he goes on about If they push me I'm going to swing.

The best part about being an NF fan , is I’ve never thought “ dawn how’s he’s gonna match that from the last album” I just know he’s gonna keep coming out with amazing music because he’s so much more than an artist . You’re one of the only people I’ve ever watched a react video to NF who actually understands his fullll talents and that’s why he will never not make good music , he’s a true lyricist and musician.
