See I feel like people not taking these dolls out of the box is making Disney cut corners...I think if more people took them out they would have to make them better. Her dress not being designed all away around is ridiculous especially since they are increasing the price. Thanks for the review 😉

0:35 💀💀💀 Belle was actually one my favorites hahaha. I loved the rose on the dress and I like that they didn't use a yellow fabric and it's more of a gold color. I hate that they gave her that classic doll bun, though, instead of the up-due from the artwork. I might just rip it off one day. My favorite one was Giselle from D23 and I ended up getting Meg after seeing some pictures basically because of her shoes lol. I was thinking about getting Rapunzel but I felt like her dress needed a little bit more detail and like you said her hair needed something else too. I loved her face though. I like how we all have different opinions on dolls. I'm glad they let you exchange her. Thanks for the review 💖

I honestly really just want Esmeralda and Megara. And if possible, Giselle and Edward. I just don't think these other ones are as good, especially with the cutting corners on things.

Disney never really cut corners before with these dolls.

I'm happy you're enjoying her! Unfortunately, seeing this review made me dislike this doll even more. With the doll costing $130+ you'd think they would justify that price with more details and quality assurance. I understand these dolls are meant to be catered to collectors who don't debox their dolls but that shouldn't equal them cutting corners with these dolls. Out of the collection, I sadly think she's the most plain. Her bodice is so plain, there isn't much going on in term of "designer" quality. They didn't even do anything with her hair, when they could've done what you suggested and added a flower crown or more of a theme with her in general. She just doesn't feel like a "Disney Designer Doll", and more on par with a glorified classic doll and thats sadly all it is, with her wobbly head and wrist. I'm glad you managed to exchange her, but sad she still has a wobbly head issue.

If I had the money, I would buy the Esmeralda doll!! But Rapunzel looks beautiful as well! Nice add to your collection!! 💜

I love this Rapunzel doll! Disney thinks of these dolls as something to keep in a box so they don't care about the quality. They should pay more attention in the end they cost a lot, you did well to change it, I would have done it too ... However my favorites are Meg and Rapunzel! The most beautiful in my opinion!

I just got Megara after going into my local disney store and asking if they had any of them over and luckily they had Meg and I'm in love with how beautiful she is

My set of 5 dolls from this series arrives tomorrow from the Disney Store. Many people were upset with the fact that nothing special was done with Rapunzels hair, when all the other dolls have fancy hair styles. So several people on Facebook have fixed the dolls hair in different styles, mostly braided,and added flowers that match the dress. They look amazing!

Her head is probably bobbly because of the weight of that hair. Doesn't feel heavy to you, but on the neck peg that holds her head in place, it is a lot of weight. I've rerooted a few Barbies with past the ankles length hair and it always does make them a little apt to tilt their heads back more than usual because of the weight of the hair.

I found a midnight Cinderella doll at Monte Bella shops at the Disney store I took pictures of her and got blown away

Something I’ve found unboxing dolls is if you use nail clippers instead of scissors to cut the plastic tags it works so much better.

Belle is also my least favorite too which is sad cause Belle is my favorite disney princess. And i really do want some of these dolls, but there probably too expensive 😢

Just clarifying, this is NO WAY offense to ur opinion. I actually like Belle's dress. Not only is she my fave Disney Princess, but I also like the rose on her dress. I think that roses on dresses are pretty and also, the rose from the movie is her signature symbol. 🥀💛

She is my favourite princess but Disney did her dirty on this one . Her face should have had a bit bolder of a eye makeup . The hair if not is a braid , the two side strands could have been pulled back and adorned with flowers . The bodice should have had embroidery and the skirt should have been a bit sleeker because you never imagine a free person wearing a puffy ball gown . This all could have ,ade her way better

Rapunzel’s bodice is boring but the rest of her dress is better but still a bit too simple. I wished they had done something different with Rapunzel, like put her in her wedding dress or do a different style of purple her purple and pink dress. Good on you for returning the damaged doll. I know the wobbly head is annoying, for some reason it happens at lot with Rapunzel dolls and dolls with extra long hair.

The external wrap with the max on my Rapunzel was falling off too! Which is really weird because it wasn't for Meg or Esme

Not to mislead anyone it would be recommended to say 'adhered on' or 'hand applied' eye lashes instead of 'rooted' as rooted really means 'rooted through the vinyl' in order to make it stick better. Now I don't know about this doll's eyelashes so I'm not trying to say you said something wrong here. I just find that it is better to know such small details because otherwise other doll collectors might really think of a doll's eyelashes to be rooted through the vinyl and play with the doll really much and suddenly they become detached and they wonder why. Most Barbies and other fashion dolls that have eye lashes don't have rooted eye lashes because it's cheaper.

Rapunzel is named after the Flower = rapunzel (which is a real plant !!)

The reason you are having problems with the doll is because they used the cheap $10 (7.83 British Pound) classic playline doll body/head. They just added extra long hair , rooted eyelashes, and a fancy dress to the playline doll, but at the end of they day they are still using the cheap $10 doll body/head that isn't prepared to handle all the extra weight of the designer dolls extra long hair or the weight of the mask shes supposed to hold. Disney Store didn't bother to make the joins stronger to support the extra weight. I guess they were counting on the fact that most doll collectors don't debox the dolls, and though they could get away with being cheap, and lazy. The large, and over the top fancy cardboard box is there to help you forget that they are no longer putting the dolls in a free acrylic collector doll case .

Her head's wobbly because of the weight of her hair, maybe they should have used older neck post that don't tilt. Btw, disney collector dolls aren't meant to be deboxed, that's why the boxes are elaborate & the back of the dress is plain. Then again, I love reviewers who deboxes the product.
