It speaks to me on a personal level, as Rapunzel *is* bald now, really conveying this through the lyrics. The underlying meaning of her baldness shows that Rapunzel has layers and a personality deep within, which is much more important than her physical appearance and attributes. The melody also adds to this theme and the instrumental section (14:23-14:56) gives time for the viewer to digest the meaning and relate to the song. In addition, I’d love to use this image as well, showing Rapunzel’s perspective on her situation, scared and frightened of her bald future, yet hopeful for a new perspective. It looks past her baldness, growing her a wig of trust and perseverance. In conclusion, this symphony of emotion brings me hope and I will look forward to using it in my own spiritual media.
